The Suspect

This was absolutely amazing, I initially watched this because Gong Yoo was starring. Honestly, this was great probably the best car chases I have ever seen from any movie and of course he was absolutely fantastic but beyond that the entire Group of actors had such incredible synergy a definite must watch if you like action thrillers

The chase scenes and fight choreography are stunning. World class.

Only thing bad about this movie is the shaky cam fights.

Another Korean movie industry hit. The story, the plot, the action is terrific and this is an incredibly well made movie. The threats, the backstabbing, the corruption in government is all there. The story starts with a North Korean special operative that is turned on by the North and escapes to the South. At first it is difficult to understand why the North turned on him, but then the story reveals that his family was in Hong King ready to defect. A lot of special operatives going after each other both north and south along with not knowing who to trust in the South Korean National Intelligence & Security Service.A well made movie with a suspenseful plot,

Enjoyed the story, but the close shots with unsteady camera style is dizzying. Too bad, this would have been a fantastic movie.

Overlong (with some judicial editing it could have been trimmed by 20 minutes), as some have observed, but up there with The Man From Nowhere and The Berlin File. A man betrayed by both North and South Korean governments, our protagonist seeks to find those who killed his family and enact retributive justice upon the guilty, and lets nothing get in his way. Another stunning achievement by a Korean filmmaker. I thought of comparing it to the "avenging angel" theme of "High Plains Drifter, but this work stands completely on its own...deservedly so. Puts to shame Hollywood these past few decades. Highly recommend.

This is the "Korean Jason Statham"! It's excellent. Charismatic, silently quiet spoken hero doesn't say much akin to Statham. But fight scenes dazzle me, not with erased high wire lines but with close combat realistic punches and blocks. 2013 Korean movie with English subtitles. Fantastic movie! Amazing how the US has only a limited number of exciting movies and I have seen them all, so I branched out to Asian ones and I love it. Current day Colonel busted down to training new recruits because he was falsely accused of blowing a foreign spy ops caper. Now, he's recruited to find "The Suspect", who is also falsely accused! Great action scenes! Novel realistic fight scenes look believable to me. Love it. Buy the Bluray. Buy it now!

enjoy the action but it's kind of late for me saw this a long time ago but I watch it over again. For those who didnt watch it yet it is a must watch!
