These are simple but amazing hooks. By using these hooks while I spray, I was able to avoid spraying one side, then waiting to dry, then spraying the other side. They allowed me to spray one side of cabinet door, hang the door and spray the back side. These hooks are well built, do not loose tension and have worked perfectly. I wrapped the hooks in painters tape to keep them clean. Great product from Rockler!

They were perfect for hanging the cabinets doors for spraying. Game changer

Used to spray cabinet doors. On 1 hook doors wanted to swing around on my set up w HVLP pressure so I always had 1 hand on door. But spraying fronts and backs at the same time, saves time which there’s not enough of. I will buy 24 more hangers and make my holding station better, yes I recommend these. And no problem with painting around hook to door, I did blue tape hooks so not covered in paint.

I've loved these for decades. Just got this order, my 4th or 5th batch of 12. The cup engagement no longer works. When placed next to the old ones, you can see, the diameter is smaller on the new ones, by at least 1 -2 mm. No problem, just tighten the set screw to get it to spread better, right? Wrong. Still very loose at the hardest setting I can manage and still turn the stem to the "lock" position. And it's a struggle. After fiddling for a few minutes, never getting it engage properly, tada! we now have a broken stem. So, 2025 update for those, like me who rely on and love this unique product: these have been cheapened down to a point of unusable. So sad to watch the deterioration of products we rely upon to complete the job. I hope Rockler is working on a remedy. I'll call their CS next to see what they recommend, but looks like Azon has the bad ones. No wonder Rockler themselves are out of stock. UPDATE: Contacted Rockler. They're well aware. All of their stock is pulled from inventory. Unable to convince Azon to do the same = they'll keep shipping defective merch as long as you're willing to buy it. I now have to wait a few more weeks- month until fresh, corrected product lands at Rockler. UPDATE November 2025 I just ordered/received a set direct from Rockler. After months of checking availability and endless arrival date pushbacks, it would seem the clock has been reset. The new ones seem to fit well and I have updated my rating to 4 stars, not so much on product design and usefulness when manufactured properly, but as an act of caution given the history detailed above. So, please, if anyone starts having fitment issues, call Rockler direct for clarification. I am happy they seem to have conquered the issues, as I literally count on these to make my living, and every other solution to hanging and spraying doors is quite laughable, given the brilliance of this product. Thank you, Rockler, for following through and restoring our faith in this indispensable tool!

Great product!

The plastic that makes up the main body of these is SERIOUSLY brittle. Users should take extreme care to not overtighten. Through the course is painting 18 kitchen cabinet doors, I had atleast 3 of these break from being overtightened. Though they had to be that tight to stay snugly in the pocket holes... It'll work, and they helped tremendously, but have to be aware and be gentle. Over priced for what they are.

These hooks allowed me to use both a spray gun and a brush. Being able to suspend and easily rotate the pieces added a simplicity I did not have painting on the floor. These cut my time in half. No big droplets around the rim on the bottom where I could not see when painting down. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very disappointed with these hooks. Every piece of 2 packs needed 3 wraps of painters tape to make them tight in a standard European cup hinge hole. And 2 of broke. At this price point, they should fit and not need tape.

These do not work. Had the same problem previous person had. Unfortunately I had purchased this set before he did his review. They will not expand far enough to hold in a 35mm hinge bore. If you try to adjust the hex bolt to expand you cannot flip the hook to 90 degree. Totally useless and a waste of money Update: contacted seller and there response is to contact Rockler as they are a reseller. I did not buy them from Rockler…I bought them from you. Looking at the reviews it seems you should have known you were selling a defective item that did now work as advertised. I would avoid this seller as they do not stand behind what they sell
