ClosetMaid 3304940 Wood Shelf with Hang Rod, 3 ft x 10 in, White

This product is okay. I bought a second one. The glued on tag does not come off easily so I left it on. The shelf is high enough so that it does not show. There was a ding on the shelf but I did not send it back. It is unlikely this would stay up with a sheetrock anchors so thankfully the supports can be adjusted. Overall it's a good product.

I decided to not return it because I already hung the brackets before realizing one of the shelf corners was damaged. Beside that, assembly should be easier than it actually is. In order to secure the bracket to the wall, one would need to use a long screwdriver drill bit to tighten it because the bracket is designed in such a poor way as to leave almost no room for a power drill to angle properly. Moreover, there are two 0.625" screws that secure the shelf to each brackets. The back screw is impossible to tighten as well because of the way the bracket is designed it doesn't leave enough room to position the screwdriver properly to drive the screw into the wood. So I decided not to even continue to try to screw them in (only the front screws were used to secure the shelf to the brackets).However, once installed, it is a decent shelf for the laundry room and you can't beat the price.

I was a little hesitant to buy this after reading some negative reviews, but decided to get it anyways as it was exactly what we were looking for for our daughter's closet. Seems to be well-made and haven't had any problems with it. My daughter is 12 years old and loves it, so would recommend.

Put this in the laundry room, it's perfect for all my wife's dresses, sturdy,easy to install.

It's a good shelf with one issue. The clothing bar is to close to the wall so your hangers don't even sit on it properly.

I was scare to buy this since there was so many bad review. Came out pretty good I needed an open closet for my daughters room since closet space is so small in our old house . The only thing is that we used our own Screw and stun, we didn’t use the screw that came with it since it was kind of small. They didn’t come with stun either but that was okay but we have extra screw and stun at our house.

Technically it will do the job of a shelf which is to hold things but the fit and finish of the entire package is lacking. One corner of the laminate is peeled back while the overall coverage of the laminate/paint/whatever they want to call it has light spots and gives it an unfinished look.

The shelf brackets & mounting hardware were missing. The shelf & rod assembly are fine. They work as intended but the mounting brackets & hardware were not included so, I had to run to the hardware store to buy those. Not bad, just an extra $10ish but that made the install more complicated since I had to make time to run to the hardware store. I wouldn't buy again from Closet Maid or this vendor.
