Subcutaneous Injection Practicing Model for Nursing Medical Students

Just as described. I contacted the seller and explained I needed it quickly for the next weeks class on injections. They got right back to me and I had the product by the weekend. I will be ordering more of them. Only thing I would change about the product is I wish it was a little larger but still it worked great on the first day of injections to learn the hand placement and angles. We used this one for the intradermals and subcutaneous. It does not hold the fluid after injection, if you press back on it the injected fluid will flow back out through the injection site. My class has been injecting on this for about a month now but it still looks the same so I think it should last quite awhile.

The product serves its purpose, but I did not use the one I bought. I recently started Immuno-Therapy and wanted to have something similar to my arm to practice on. The downside for me was the smell. I forgot some medical items have a certain smell. It's hard to describe it if you don't know it, but for those who do, it smells like latex gloves or something close to it. I have allergies, reoccurring sinus issues, and the smell of this item was not pleasant for me. Luckily, I contacted the seller and was able to get a refund.

Good to practice, really helped me pass my medication administration test. DO NOT INJECT WATER, it will destroy the pad.
