The Boy On The Bench
I would never have known about this book if it had not been compared to The Bench by Meghan Markle on The Daily Mail two months ago. The Boy On The Bench is nice and simple with great illustrations. I'm glad to add it to my collection. Thank you.

A fun, educational book - no hint of sentimental drivel.
Great book! My grandchildren love the story and bright pictures and can empathise with Tom. Unlike other books about benches, it depicts children of colour and the children are both male and female.

Bought this book for my 6 years old grandson for him to read. As he put it : “This is the best book I’ve ever read”

Amazing book for children that sometimes find it difficult to connect
Our 4 year old son could relate to this book and its the first time he read a story about a boy who had the same issues as he did. Such a lovely and fun story!

I bought this book, and Meghan's too
I do not have children so I donated The Boy On The Bench to an area homeless shelter I have made a decision to buy a child's book from amazon once an month and donate it to a pediatric clinic or a homeless shelter because of meghan. When kates book comes out I intend on buying her book hold still also. i was asked to rate this book for the ages of children from 1yr to 13plus years of age i think all ages past 13plus would benefit from the message in this book

Delightful Book
I'm so glad I bought this book. It illustrates how a little boy's anxieties about fitting in with other children on a playground are finally overcome. The illustrations are very well done.
