Great steamer
Much better than a bamboo steamer. Spend the extra, it is well worth it.

Good Quality
This is a little more expensive than most microwave steamers but you get what you pay for. This is great for its quality but so versatile. You can only use one layer if you want and for more items the 2 layers. The shelves that the food sits are on are also versatile. They can be turned around so they can either have a small separator to separate items or turn the other way around if you have more of just one item. Great steamer and would highly recommend.

I love this steamer
I love this steamer! I had a party with friends to come over to my place and make Xiao Long Bao soup dumplings and needed steamer baskets. I opted to buy 2 sets of these instead of bamboo ones because bamboo is harder to clean and I find still gets black and mildewy over time and these ones looked big, easy to clean, and versatile!I bought two sets of these stackables (so I had 4 stacks to switch out still only using two at a time) along with that stainless steel steamer ring so I could use this over a dutch oven instead of a wok; it worked great and the silicon didn't burn or anything. I lined them with napa cabbage so now review with paper liners. The steaming rack on each level pops out/snaps back in easily which is great because it makes it even easier to clean. The only sort of downside is that when you are lifting the trays away from each other or putting them back together they sometimes get stuck or harder to align when stacking over the stock or on your table - this may be because of the material and it slightly expanding or cooling depending on the heat/difference but I can't compare to regular bamboo steamers so maybe that is normal. Additionally, I wish the lid was heavier. I steamed a few layers of napa cabbage so I could wrap things in them but the lid is light so the cabbage laves pushed the lid up. I used my dutch oven/cast iron lid to hold it down. Not a big deal but I wish it would sort of trap things inside the steamer.I'm obsessed with steaming food now since it is so easy! I ended up also making taro cake and steaming carrots and broccolini in it!

Mehh
Dumplings stick to it . Wife doesn’t like to put plastic dishes in microwave. Worries food will be tainted .

Slightly disappointed
The concept is great and we had a smaller version years ago, the problem is things like brocolli are quite deep and have to be cut very small as the layers are shallow and quite a few ties the top layer has just dried up even though the water reservoir was full so not sure the right amount of steam is getting up to the top, ironically our little old one which came free with a microwave years ago is better, and deeper.
