Universal Security Camera Sun Rain Cover Shield Cover Shield for Surveillance Camara Protective Roof for Dome/Bullet Outdoor Camera

I mounted the cover on a house with vinyl siding, so it doesn't fit flush against the house. I used some clear caulk to add 1" weather stripping to the sides of the cover to provide a seal against the elements. There are screw holes for mounting - 2 on the top and some on each side. On the side, I used some make-shift "shims" to allow me to secure the sides with long screws so the cover should not be affected by high winds. The cover has a gasket on the edge where it's mounted against the building, but the gasket is fairly thin. It would probably hold up okay if mounted against a flat wall rather than the vinyl siding. The cover is mounted over a Wyze Pan 3 camera, which is "water resistant", not water proof. The cover provides a decent amount of protecting although the bottom part of the camera will get wet if the wind is blowing. Not much I can do about that - you'd need a much bigger cover if you were trying to keep it completely dry.

I have the Wyze cameras installed around my house and these fit perfect over the camera to shied from rain and snow. Does not block any of the camera visability. Easy to install. Would buy again.

Some other covers were too wide. This one is solid and fits neatly without taking up a lot of space. The 2 covers I installed look great and are doing the job, recommended.

A must have for your crappy "not-weatherproof" ring camera. I have a Ring Spotlight camera (wired version) that has failed 3 times now. Its all weather related, from rain. So on my 3rd camera replacement I decided to get this rain cover. this is the perfect size, its deep enough to cover the camera, very sturdy, and feels like it will last way longer than Ring cameras do! I have an amcrest camera next to it, thats been exposed to the weather for over 10yrs. works great, the Ring dies after 2-3 rainfalls. Crazy, so get yourself this amazing ran cover, priced right, and super easy to install!!

Keeps the rain and snow off. Just the right size.

Unable to protect during strong downpour. This is something to consider when purchasing this device. Overall I think this product is worthless. I'm considering replacing my outdoor cameras more suitable for the harsh winter weather. The product is sturdy and well made, the 3 ⭐⭐⭐ rating is because it didn't protect my camera during a rain downpour

This is really good quality - thick, sturdy. I was mounting this on a 4x4 post, so drilled a new hole that would work for me. Took only a few minutes to install. I wanted to protect the Ring Spotcam from the rain. I bought this because it was a little larger than the others. Since it rains a lot in Seattle, I may also get a skin to protect the cam. There is plenty of room to pull off the camera and to change the battery. Excellent product! I am getting one more Ring Spotlight for my backyard and will order another of these. Thank you for an excellent product!
