I bought this to tranfer fuel and other mechanical fluids. Great product. Works as it should with great suction.

It'll do - glass is a plus
Much better than the plastic ones. Minimal dribbles. Nice, easy to clean glass! Hooray! Used on super hot grease today and it worked fine - if you angle it right, dribbles are minimal. Having measurements printed on it would have been nice.

Excellent quality baster.
No more melting plastic end!! This one is worth the money, a good size and a keeper in my kitchen!

Glass baster superior to plastic
If you are going to be working with hot juices regularly (especially for a turkey or other roast) I recommend going with a glass baster with a silicone bulb. Then you never have to worry about it melting or otherwise imparting plastic taste to a turkey. This one is nice because it can just go in the dishwasher when you're done with it. Overall I would definitely recommend it.

Get a glass baster for hot juice basting!
Love it, not liking using plastic baster for very hot juices, and this glass baster is great.

Good but needs a higher volume squeeze bulb.
The glass tube is very nice, but the squeeze bulb volume is too little - only sucks up about a third of the 2 ounce tube. Make for more work to get the job done. We do a lot of basting so that is important to us. Otherwise it is good with very good construction. If it had a 2 ounce volume rubber squeeze bulb I would have given a 4 or 5 rating. Good for the price point, tho.
