Awesome Organizing Tool for Simplifying Your Routine
Couple one of these with a good timer and you've taken the worry out of your medication schedule. The more complicated your schedule, the more you'll appreciate these handy organizers. There are 4 compartments in each box labeled Morning, Noon, Evening, and Bedtime. Each DAY box is clearly and largely labeled with the full day (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, etc.) AND Color Coded to make everything easier. My hubby has to take a specific and varying schedule of AM and PM medicines (and supplements) on a daily basis & this organizer makes it all SOOO much easier. He has a MWF schedule and a different one for the rest of the week.Once a week, I take about 15 minutes to fill each compartment with the right AM and PM meds and then we FORGET ABOUT IT till the timer sounds twice a day. To make this easier, I've printed a label that's taped to the BOTTOM of the yellow tray that holds these 7 compartmentalized boxes. This label lists AM MEDS and PM MEDS by day (name of medicine, #pills or mg dosage, etc.) This helps me double-check for accuracy as I fill.I then arrange the boxes by day & set the tray up on its end (so the days are listed vertically--I've posted a couple of photos). This saves cabinet space & makes it easy to retrieve the boxes. I keep the current day on top. When the timer sounds at 9 AM and again at 5 PM, we just dump that day's AM or PM pills into a Dixie cup, he takes them & we're FINISHED! No fishing for bottles or trying to remember how much of what on which day. And no worrying about whether he forgot to take something or took too much or too little of anything. If you take supplements, these are terrific, too. The compartments are surprisingly roomy. We use these daily & I don't know what I'd do without them; highly recommended for function and quality!

Newest version ideal
For my needs, this newest version of the 7Pack Pill Organizer is ideal. The organizer consists of a long storage tray that holds 7 boxes—one for each day of the week. These “daily” boxes measure 2 ½ inches tall by 2 ¼ inches wide by 1 inch deep. Each daily box is a different color, labeled by a day of the week, and divided into 4 smaller boxes. Each smaller box has its own individual, see-through lid. The lids are labeled: “Morning,” “Noon,” “Evening,” and “Bedtime” so that you can separate your pills by the time of day you’re supposed to take them. These smaller boxes are large enough to suit virtually everyone. I take 9 pills a day, 3 of them large, and all 9 fit easily into each one of the 4 smaller boxes, with some space left over. Although you can sort the pills according to the time of day you take them, some people won’t find this necessary. None of my pills has to be taken at a particular time, so I put a whole days’ supply into each small box. This means I can put 4 days’ worth of pills into each of the 7 daily boxes, which allows me to fill the organizer with a month’s worth of pills at one filling. The pills are just as easy to get out of the small boxes as they are to put in, and the lids on the smaller boxes snap firmly shut when you close them. Another good feature of this organizer is that when you travel, you can take along as few or as many of the “daily” boxes as you need, and leave the rest at home. They’re small enough to fit easily into a jacket, purse, fanny pack, or what have you.Several reviewers have complained about two problems with this organizer, but the manufacturer seems to have solved one of these problems, and I may have solved the other. The most frequent complaint has been that the lids on the smaller boxes are too tight, and can cause you to break a nail when you try to open them. But in this newer version of the 7Pack, the lids are not a problem. Even though they close securely, they are not hard to open. The second problem reviewers have mentioned is the printing on the big “daily” boxes. Each daily box is labeled, “Sunday,” “Monday,” “Tuesday,” etc. Several reviewers have complained that this printing rubs off quickly with daily handling. Having been forewarned about this, I covered the printing on each box with a piece of transparent Scotch tape as soon as I unwrapped the 7Pack. This seems to have fixed the problem, at least temporarily. I can’t be sure if it’s a permanent fix, because I’ve only had the organizer for a week—but so far, so good.A week is also not long enough to know how durable the plastic hinges on the smaller boxes are. They look and feel sturdy, but if they prove to be otherwise, I’ll write an update to this review. However, unless the 7Pack proves to be a lot less durable than it looks, it’s the perfect pill organizer for me, and the only one I’ll use from now on.P.S. Forgot to say that some reviewers have mentioned a third problem. They say that when B vitamin tablets are placed in the same compartment as the other pills, all the pills wind up smelling like B vitamins. I have no experience with this since I don’t take a B-vitamin supplement, but each daily box has four separate, sealed compartments, so the problem should be easy to solve with a little advance planning.
