I have been installing video security systems for 15 years and I have always stayed with quality commercial-grade cameras for my customers, i.e. Axis. I figured that I didn't need "quality" for the inside of my own garage so I ended up buying this camera. Nothing but problems from day one, upgrading firmware has issues, the VMS system cannot log into the camera using the same credentials that I'm using to manually log in. The worst part about it is that HikVision will not provide any support because they say that the serial number of the product shows that it was not meant for the United States, therefore they will not help. You really get what you pay for, so don't bother with this unless your needs are very basic, or this is for your 5 year old child to play with.

Bought several of these for home security. Hooked them into hikvision NVR, which is hooked to my tv. Picture quality excellent. No issues at all. .

Easy to setup and it has a very clear picture, even at night.
