Best thing I have done
Buying the Exercise Peddler is the best thing I have done for myself. Both of my knees need to be replaced but because I am anemic I have to work on building up my blood before surgery can be done. The Peddle Exerciser has kept my knees flexible and I love using it. When I began using it I could only make it go completely around six times because my knees hurt so badly. Now I peddle it a half an hour or more with no pain while I am using it. My Doctor told me to only do non-weight bearing exercises. I can sit in a chair and use the exerciser while watching tv, talking on the phone, etc. I was low cost, easy to assemble, light weight and sturdy. I highly recommend it for anyone who is serious about keeping their knees flexible. I will have the surgery as soon as I can, but in the meantime the Peddle Exerciser is keeping me moving. LOVE IT.

Perfect for my restless leg issues
I have reduced circulation in my legs. I was ordered by my doctor to put on a fitbit and walk several miles a day and do so many flights of stairs. Neither of which my knees appreciated nor did I at 2 am when the weather was bad and my only option was to walk or take a bunch of really nasty medications that still didn't fix the problem.I've tried treadmills and stationary bikes and not liked either. Someone recommended this very unit. Salvation.Lightweight and it does come in parts, but easy to assemble. It fits under the coffee table. The stirrups do have a couple of snap notches for adjusting. I put this next to the couch, slouch a little, put on the earbuds and fire up my tablet and start in. The range of motion is excellent and easy to do-very little effort. It has resistance but I have it 'free' mode because what I need is the muscles to move and naturally force the accumulated fluids and that back out. This does it with minimal impact to my hips, knees, and ankles. It is almost mindless to get it started and just pump away until the legs feel better. No more restless legs and that strange ache. I don't push it hard or fast, but at a moderate steady pace. It's not really sturdy enough for fast or hard, but for what I do need, it's perfect.Best investment of ($17.06 plus tax when I bought it). I don't care about fancy, I just care about results. It has given me back a lot of sanity. No more doing that strange bouncy bit with the legs (fidgeting on steroids). No more walking in weird weather. No more something taking up that much space and I hate using it. I give this five of five stars and two of two legs.I need to go on a long trip soon and it will come apart and fit in a suitcase-it will be a bit of a space eater but it will break down to fit in one of my wheeled suitcases. Win-win.

Super-easy for even the laziest
Pros: lightweight, easy assembly, great box for travel/taking to the office, works as intended, inexpensiveCons: moves a little as you pedal, not able to increase resistanceAlthough there is a screw on top for tightening/increasing resistance, I haven’t had any success with it. Using this thing is about repetition, not a few hard turns. So far I’ve used it tons and have never once been sore from using this thing (which is unusual for me since I’m an official couch-potato who decides to exercise once a month or so). Except with this - I can sit or lay on the couch while using it!! Given ease of use, I’m up to exercising several times a week (if this thing is considered exercise haha!). And once I take it to my office, I’ll prob use it every day. My only concern is that it might be difficult in heels...but I’m thinking it will be fine bc the straps are wide enough to accommodate even platform heels. Well and the concern that it isn’t really doing any good! It’s so easy that I’m not sure...but some movement must be better than no movement so I’m keeping it!! If your goal is to drop pounds or tone, I doubt this alone will do any good.Update: didn’t work in office at all. Can’t do a full turn bc your knees hit the desk.

Tolerable
This little exerciser was inexpensive BUT, the pedal is too narrow for bare feet and while using it, sitting down, my feet tend to "slide" out. I guess wearing shoes while using this, would fill the gap.

Big help with ADHD
I am a 29 year old woman with ADHD. I am also a college student so I spend a lot of time sitting in front of my computer or a textbook, and concentration is a big struggle for me. Using this pedal exerciser while I'm sitting at my desk gives me a physical outlet for my restlessness and really does help me focus on what I need to do. Even while playing a video game or watching a movie I often feel an urge to look at my phone or fiddle with something on my desk; with this I can focus that energy on pedaling without losing concentration on my main task. Getting in some extra exercise doesn't hurt either. As many have said this is awkward under a desk because your knees will hit it as you pedal. My solution to that is to position it so my knees come just outside of the desk while I pedal. I can still reach my keyboard and mouse, and while it isn't the most comfortable position and I wouldn't sit in it for hours, it works. I can also slide it further under my desk and sort of recline in my chair and pedal that way if I'm watching or reading something and don't need the mouse/keyboard for a few minutes. Mine is almost silent, and while it does get hot there is a label on it that says as much so that shouldn't surprise anyone. The resistance setting is pretty useless since for me, pushing harder on the pedals just means you're pushing the unit across the floor.
