The world Ends With You- Final Remix (Nintendo Switch)

Great game for both returning fans and newcomers. Playing in docked mode has a bit f a steep learning curve but it is possible to play the full game handheld or adjust the difficulty at any point if you struggle too much. I played the whole game through docked with little issue. Multiplayer sucks but the main story is phenomenal

That is what the developers said in the interviews towards this game's release... and well... It's now on the Switch. In my honest opinion, this remains "the game that can only be played on DS", the game can only be made worse and most definitely has been due to the lack of a 2nd screen, mic, and the touchscreen (if you play on TV, but even then, the switch isn't as ergonomic as the DS for touchscreen only controls). Even though I think this game is far worse than the original, it's definitely a must play even if this (or the mobile version) is the only one available to you, the story is excellent and there is so much gameplay for such a small overworld (I got 100hrs out of the DS version), they really went all out on this game in the early 2000s and it absolutely holds up today. If you do plan on getting this for the Switch, please make sure you get yourself a nice stylus since you will need it, using your fingers is probably the worst way you could play this game since the whole thing is designed around using a stylus. The motion controls aren't super bad, some attacks (like slash attacks) will be very uncomfortable but I found bullet and tap attacks to be much more doable with motion controls, dodging is also a lot easier with the motion controls, instead of dragging neku and stopping attacking, you can just hit a button to start moving. The menu's are also a pain to get around and are a lot better on the DS, you can definitely tell it was designed for a phone screen and doesn't work well at all on the Switch with motion controls Did I mention that this is pretty much just the mobile version? There are a few things that are improved in this game though - The graphics are gorgeous, they are now in HD and look brilliant, the anime style always looked strange on the low res DS display and this definitely improves it - The music has been remixed and is awesome, It's so good in fact that I immeditely went and bought all 3 of the soundtracks for this game hoping they had the final remix tracks on them... (they didn't) - There's extra story, I haven't gotten to that point yet but this is definitely something you will need to do if you're a fan of the game - Mingle has been removed (some may think this is a bad thing), I think this is great since a lot of people live in areas where there aren't many gamers, let alone Switch users around them I know a lot of people will be wanting to play this game considering the new one that's coming out soon and I would definitely suggest picking up a DS for this game alone, if that's not possible this is an okay option. Game is great, fun and vastly underrated. Unfortunately the Switch port cuts some of the game play mechanics that the ds version had due to a lack of a second screen. In most games this would be largely unnoticeable but in TWEWY the fighting mechanic of keeping the characters on the two separate screens linked heavily with the themes of the games and the game suffers in its loss. However if you haven't played the original you will likely find it highly enjoyable. While still enjoyable for those who have previously played the game the experience may be coloured

My daughter really likes this game and she said the graphics are really good in it. She's enjoying playing it and it was a good price .

No cartridge arrived in the box

Great game that can cause some serious repetitive strain to one's wrist. The touch screen is a tad grippy but that may be my screen protector.

Già giocato su Nintendo DS. A distanza di anni ha mantenuto tutto l'interesse che avevo nei suoi confronti. Ottima colonna sonora, ottima storia. Trovo più semplice giocare in Modalità Portatile, in Modalità TV si utilizza un solo Joy-Con che, se perde la taratura, bisogna riavviare il gioco. Traduzione in italiano non proprio eccellente. Se avete uno Switch, è un gioco da avere.
