It is a classic!The DVD might not have the best PQ, but the movie more than makes up for it.Worth buying. You get the regular "Best of W.Bros" packing.Audio is good, not the best, but good enough.Recommended.

The filthy language just puts you off
The filthy language and the main essence of the film makes gangsters proud of what they are doing. The character played by Harvey Keitel needs to wash his mouth with dettol. Not for a family watch!

GoodFellas is a classic
Goodfellas is such a good movie that I wish I could rate it than 5 stars. Since Amazon only goes up to 5 stars I'll have to settle for only 5 stars. This movies is a classic and is not only a great crime thiller but also a great movie under any genre. Goodfellas features the amazing acting of Robert Deniro.Goodfellas is a 1990 American crime film directed by Martin Scorsese. It is a film adaptation of the 1986 non-fiction book Wiseguy by Nicholas Pileggi, who co-wrote the screenplay with Scorsese. The film follows the rise and fall of Lucchese crime family through the eyes of a Lucchese associate, Henry Hill. The movie covers the period of time from 1955 to 1980. The movie features the great acting of Ray Liotta, Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci, Lorraine Bracco, and Paul Sorvino. Goodfellas was nominated for the Academy Award in the following categories: Best Picture, Best Director, Best Film Editing, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Supporting Actress, and Best Supporting Actor (Joe Pesci, who won).I enjoyed this movie and would definitely recommend it.Thank you for reading my review.

An enjoyable film - drags on a little
Overall, I thought the plot was excellent and it was great to see all of the characters develop throughout because you then can see how they change and become more "arrogant" with age, if you can call it that(?). The one problem was that it felt quit long and it was quite long. I would have preferred it to have been a bit shorter and cut some of the talking, but it was still a great movie.

Audio delay (out of sync)
Instead of reviewing the movie as many have done, I believe reviewing the product itself is more appropriate. Having that being said, the disc itself has a noticeable audio delay (out of sync with video). Unfortunately it was well past return date by the time I watched it. Hopefully it was just a lemon. I recommend watching new purchases ASAP, to assure disc quality before return window closes.

Kein Vergleich zu Coppola: Der Pate, Leone: Es war einmal in Amerika (sp. Ed.) oder auch Besson: Malavita.Erinnert an einen bestimmten Stil amerikanischer Kömödien, in denen unablässig durcheinander gequatscht wird.Dialoge - kaum herauszuhören, Filmmusik - war da welche, Schlüsselszenen - wüsste nicht bei dieser Pizza Mista - Mir gefallen wenige Filme dieses Regisseurs, Good Fellas gehört nicht dazu. Was behalte ich in Erinnerung an diesen Film - ständiges Dauergequassel.

Ho visto il film in TV varie volte, quando ho visto che era disponibile in HD ad un prezzo ottimo lo ho acquistato, magnifico Cast, film immancabile.

Gefällt mir besser als andere Filme von DeNiro.Ray Liotta war perfekt für diese Rollen.Krank wenn man bedenkt dass das eigentlich alles wahre Geschichten sind.Sehr sehr guter Film
