Vet Plus 180 Count Probios Digestive Dog Tablet

Great for his tummy..

My vet had me give these to another dog so when I got the dog I have now I started with them in the beginning. They must taste and smell great because my dog is picky and he thinks they are a treat. He is getting his probiotic and at the same time a treat rather than a treat that has no value. I told my new vet what I was doing and she said it was a good quality product also.

The vet recommended this brand, and we've tried a few others with similar or lessor success, so we will no doubt stick with Probios for our Labrador Retriever. The only issue was that about 1/4th of the tablets were broken into pieces from shipping. (the bottle did have cotton-like stuffing inside, but handling/shipping took it's toll)

This product was given to me by my vet after my poor dog had several recurring bouts of severe diarrhea requiring hospitalization. I noticed after putting her on it, the antibiotics seemed to work better and faster and consequently she recuperated more quickly. I then made the mistake of purchasing another type of probiotic from NZymes, a company I have used before, and she slowly relapsed into her previous state.I decided to compare the 2 products and noticed a MAJOR difference in ingredients--primarily that the NZymes formulation of the BakPak probiotic had a Sarcomyces strain -- this is a YEAST strain! While this strain is really good for humans, it's not really a probiotic for dogs. Add to that the fact that my dog has had terrible skin allergies and yeast overgrowth in the past, and suddenly all her backsliding and new itching and scratching was explained. Interestingly, Sarcomyces is in just about every OTC probiotic for doggies that I've found. Just to be sure it was the offending agent, I tried a few days on another probiotic with a different composition but still with Sarcomyces. She got even WORSE. I switched over to the Probios tabs, and she improved rapidly. I have not had a problem in MONTHS! She has her bounce back, has regular digestion, and her coat is BEAUTIFUL.I highly recommend this product for dogs that have had yeast overgrowth, skin allergies, and problems with digestion.

Bought this to help my border collie with IBS symptoms. I tried changing foods a few times with no progress. I finally bought these as a last attempt. Gave him 1 tablet with his breakfast and dinner and after about a week I saw an improvement. No more loose stools or accidents. I have noticed if I take him off it for a month or two his symptoms come back, but one package of these lasts me about 3 months so it's well worth the money.

Came across these at a Veterinarian Expo in Vegas. Had a sample from one of the Vendors. Great product for my lab who sometimes have tummy issues and soft poop. Found these to give her good gut health since dog foods aren't always of good quality. I home cook for my girls and this is just added support for gut health.

My dog has struggled with GI issues for years. We have tried multiple different probiotics and even a prescription diet. Probios is the only thing that has worked! Highly recommend.
