Worked great and was an easy install. Also, 30 dollars cheaper than an appliance parts website. That's a WIN-WIN.

Took longer to get the washer itself in and out then to R n R the pump. Just do your homework on which pump ya need to make sure you order the right one the first time.I can hear the water splashing against the dishwasher door again- haven't heard that in a while ……

Arrived 3 days earlier than estimated. Product is genuine GE. Perfect fit. No issues. Now dishwasher is fixed.

Leaking water after 1 year 3 months

This brand new replacement pump solved my dishwasher issue. It was a direct swap and took about 20 mins to install and get things up and running. It’s a good deal and the seller was quick to ship.

You’ll see a lot of reviews mentioning the wrong type of connector on the pump vs what they originally have. Hoping I was wrong I went ahead and ordered anyways because this is the “recommended” part number but as I found out like everyone else it’s not correct. So do yourself a favor and contact GE and verify your replacement model. GE discontinued the old pump and this model,the new version, has the square connector. While you can monkey around and try and make it work I would advise against it. You’re just asking for problems.For me pump kit WD49X23781 includes the new harness and I couldn’t find it anywhere other than direct from GE. With all the returns this vendor does I’m surprised there’s not a disclaimer somewhere as this can’t be cost effective for them. Anyways I didn’t down rate them for the product as it was genuine GE but without the proper harness it’s not a good idea to install.

Exact fit for GDT580SGF7BB including the electrical hookup. Came with necessary hose clamps. Getting the dishwasher out took longer than replacing the pump. Tighten the hose clamps a little tighter than what you would think. I had a slight drip that had to be snugged up after my first test run. This fixed our dishwasher when the sprayers stopped working. Dishwasher would fill, heat, and empty but without ever spraying. You can confirm the circulation pump is the problem by entering a diagnostic mode...check Youtube.

I was called while I was on the road and told the dishwasher smells funny. I said it always smells funny, did you clean the filters? When I got home, I pulled it out and I could smell as my team of electricians called it "Magic Smoke."I pulled the info for the DW and found this motor here. I like that they included stainless steel clamps for the installation. The part fit like a glove and installation was a snap once I had the DW out where I could get to the pump.
