Sargent Art 22-7273 50 Watercolor Pencils Set

I normally don't get this excited with a product but these pencils deserve it. SARGENT Watercolor Pencils far superior than this other brand I am using What's important is you can trust the outcome water painting. At this point I see no use trying other brands All I have to find is decent water color paper at present I am using cotton.Great product and I stand by this commentBob

These are good for practicing, or kids, at this price. For pro or artist level pencils, go Faber Castell or even General.

These pencils have really nice colors and they go down really smoothly, but I feel like when I add water they get really grainy and splotchy. It’s too bad because they’re really nice otherwise, but if I wanted a regular pencil, I would’ve bought regular colored pencils. For the price though I can’t complain too much, the box arrived in perfect condition and all 50 pencils were there. The pencils weren’t numbered so I wrote my own numbers on them and swatched them. The first part of each swatch is just solid pencil and the second half is the pencil with water on it. #9 I messed up and had to cover up the darker pencil.

IT MAKES IT VERY HARD TO KEEP UP WITH YOUR COLORS WHEN THE ARE NOT NAMED. THEY ALSO BREAK VERY EASLIY. THE WATERCOLOR'S BREAK MORE THAN THE REGULAR COLORED PENCILS.I WOULD BUY THEM AGAIN IF THEY WOULD ENGRAVE THE NAME ON THE PENCIL
