Books arrived in pristine condition, and the box wasn't damaged a bit. Horrible Science is great to learn science from (if you ignore all the corny yet sometimes funny jokes/puns). Go for it!

Great collection of books. Excellent packaging and delivery by Amazon. Recommended if you want to get children interested in science and for adults to pass time.

Its worth the price... my 12 year old loves reading each and every volume of this series... fantastically explained in a humours way which kids can understand and relate and retain as well... A must buy

Got it to distribute books as diwali-gift. All the children are happy to have received these books. The whole Horrible series is fun. I've read many myself - horrible science, horrible geography, horrible history, horrible maths etc.

The books are good. I am a 14 year old bookworm just searching for science with fun and if you are one just buy em' extremly usefuk for 12 and above.

Makes for good reading

Bought for my grandson who loves horrible history, have bought him various fact books and am amazed how he remembers everything.There's a great selection, pressy for him will update when he tells me how great they are 😁Arrived quickly and well packaged/protected 👍

Compré la colección para mi hijo de 14 años porque se los recomendaron en el instituto. Nos los estamos leyendo los dos y son muy amenos y cuentan un montón de cosas curiosas. Desde aquí mi homenaje a Luigi Lilio (según el libro no os preocupéis que el 99,9999% de los lectores no saben quién es)... si queréis descubrirlo sólo hay que empezar a leer el libro de la cruda verdad sobre el tiempo

Sono libri eccezionali, interessanti, avvicinano alla lettura in inglese dei testi scientifici "da grandi". Esiste la loro versione anche in italiano, in inglese vanno bene per i ragazzi con livello di inglese a partire da B1.Ai liceali del 1, 2 o 3 anno aiuteranno a famigliarizzare con l'inglese scientifico in una maniera divertente e non noiosa. Va benissimo per quelli che seguono il programma Cambridge.Se non c'e' il problema della lingua, vanno bene anche per i ragazzi delle medie.
