Estroven Maximum Strength, (120 Caplets)

Of all the reviews I have ever posted, I really hope this one helps other women that have this problem.UPDATE:After taking this and other products to reduce really severe and intense hot flashes, I wanted to provide an update that I hope fellow sufferers will find helpful. First, let me just reiterate that any of these holistic products take a while to really start to work so do not expect an overnight miracle. Also, keep in mind that just like diet supplements, some of these products may not help every person. My first review of this product along with my particular situation is listed below if you care to continue reading after reviewing my update. Estroven products both the maximum strength as well as the nighttime seem to work very well. The Remifemin did not work as well as I originally thought so I stopped taking it. I found something called Complete Menopause Support by Nature's Bounty in Rite Aid and have found this product to work the best. I will warn you that the evening capsule has a horrific odor but that is not a deterrent for me. Also, my doctor prescribed a very low dosage of Prozac which has been known to ease hot flashes. I only use this once per day and I take it in the morning. My daily routine which seems to have returned my life almost back to normal is as follows: Prozac and the morning dosage of Complete Menopause Support. Around lunchtime, I take one capsule of Estroven Maximum Strength. In the evening after dinner I take the Complete Menopause Support evening pill. I have found that spacing out dosages works the best and although I still get hot flashes, they are much less frequent and definitely less intense as well as much shorter in duration. After being on this regimen for about three weeks, I have noticed that I am not living from pill to pill and that I am no longer reminded by a hot flash that I am due for either an afternoon or evening dose.ORIGINAL REVIEW:Although I was already premenopausal with occasional mild night sweats, all of that recently changed due in large part to my thyroid being removed because of cancer. Out of nowhere within 5 months after the surgery I started having major hot flashes that were an all-day event. I literally would be burning up one minute and cold with chills the next. Needless to say I started researching the symptoms and found that there are scientific studies that show women who have had their thyroid removed can be thrown into early menopause. Now, in my case I am 51 so it is not really early but the symptoms are severe and very uncomfortable to the point where it is having a negative impact on my life. I should mention that my endocrinologist is keeping me slightly hyperthyroid to keep the cancer from returning so that could be contributing to the severity; either way I felt I could not go on like that. I purchased this product at the suggestion of my sister-in-law who happens to also be a nurse. She used this product and got very good results. My boyfriend had also found a product (Remifemin) that I was already trying but it had not yet started to fully work and I was impatient for results so I also ordered Estroven just in case the other one I was using did not do the trick. Based upon taking the two, the one that seems to work better for me is the Remifemin. I am still not getting full relief but I am doing far better than before I started taking either. I think the effectiveness of any of these products is dependent on each individual as well as the amount of black cohosh that the product contains. I am not giving this product a negative or positive review more like middle of the road only because it did not work as well for me as I would have liked. However, it might work amazing for others - solution; you just have try products until you find something that works for you. If my doctor can suggest a non-estrogen drug, I may end up going that route. Good luck to all who are researching this and I hope my review helps.

This stuff is a miracle. I just wish more women could afford it. It really takes away mid-life depression or whatever happens when you lose your hormones.

I'm 55 years old. My symptoms were moderate. I had what I would call overheating; no sweat dripping from my face or problems like my friends have had, but enough to make me very uncomfortable. Being at work with this happening "anytime" made me very irritable. It was difficult for me, my customers who have no idea what my problem was, and my poor family whohad to deal with my irrational mood swings. I had been taking Amberen. I went online and decided to try this because of the favorable reviews, and low price. I am very glad I did. I take one at night before bed, and one in the morning before I leave for work. My overheating has gone. No more being at work waiting on customers, and suddenly feeling like I'm so hot I can't bear it. I sleep through the night. My face doesn't seem as dry, and I'm not noticing new wrinkles daily (like I was.) And the strangest thing is a month after starting it I had a monthly flow which hasn't happened in almost a year. This has made daily functioning nearly normal for me again. I am waiting to see if interest in my husband will return. One more thing. Don't forget or skip a pill.I did. Overheating returned immediately. It took me a couple of days to get back on track.

I suffer early/pre mature menopause symptom 5 years ago - mood swing, hair loss, super dry skin. I was only 40. Then I did a lot of research and found a few remedy online. This combo is the total solution for my menopause symptom since 3 years ago. It was based on trial and error experience. The most important thing is the hair loss stop, mood swing is minimal. I have dry skin myself but no longer super dry to the point I could not put up with it. This daily combo is not cheap but I think it is worth it. I will keep this daily regiment until the symptom come back as I really grow older. So far I am good :) Don't forget to eat reasonably health, keep physical and mental active plus be happy as well thankful inside your heart.

I researched and read many reviews prior to committing myself to try Estroven Maximum Strength. I am so glad I found what has turned out to be a great product for me! I was having multiple hot flashes day and night. I couldn't sleep, was irritable, sweaty and felt like I was on fire from inside out! I take two a day. One a.m. and one p.m. I was discouraged after 5 weeks and had noticed no change, but I was committed to try them for two months. I kept taking them every day at the same time. At 6 1/2 weeks it's like a switch was flipped and I haven't had a hot flash since. My irritability is gone, no flashes, no sweats, and best of all...I CAN SLEEP! So glad to have found this product and at such a great price. The only negative, the expiration dates OR lack thereof. I understand the complaints. But, I have found that if you order 120 supply and take twice a day you usually will take prior to expiration. I also know most products are still good for up to 12 months beyond the expiration. I was disappointed in the supplier this time as the expiration portion of the label was cut and removed. Honesty is the best policy. I don't agree with removal of labels of any kind. Product is great. Supplier, leave labels alone.
