Great toy, but not exactly what I ordered
The media could not be loaded. So, the pictures make this look kinda like a bushy tail toy. What I received does have a short bushy tail, but half of the toys length was a round plush animal with stuffing and a squeaker. The tail has a crinkle in it, which is kinda a nice touch. My dog seems to love it! The only reason I gave this 3 stars is because the product I received is very different from the pictures. I think it was also advertised as “stuffing-free”, and it definitely is stuffed with something. Maybe I just got the wrong one by accident🤷♀️

it's okay ~shrug~
As the title says, this item is 'okay'. I figured being covered in fur it would entice the dog more so than a regular ball would. I also thought the ball-like end would make it easier to throw. Neither one of those thoughts really proved correct. You basically need to fling the toy by the tail to throw it, which I expected, but the weight of the ball doesn't create the extra oomph I thought it would to carry the toy very far in the air. I have a rope toy with a ball on the end and when you fling that thing it goes very far so maybe it's that the tail-part isn't quite long enough to get a good 'fling' out of it, or maybe the ball in this item is just slightly too heavy; not sure, but bottom line, it doesn't go all that far when thrown (compared to the similar toy I have). However, as for the product itself, NOT specific to MY dog and MY throwing ability, I do think it's a good overall product. It's sturdy/well made, the ball-end is hard and easy for the dog to grab and hold just like any regular tennis ball, and - in theory - the fur SHOULD entice a dog that's very prey driven to chase it. My dog doesn't especially seem to like the feel of the fur in her mouth so maybe, before purchasing this particular one, an owner might want to look at the various fur options the company offers for this style of toy to choose one they think their dog will be most comfortable with in it's mouth <- just something to consider. Oh, and the squeaker in the tail is big, which is nice if your dog likes to hear the squeak sound and looses interest when they can't find the spot in the toy to make it squeak as my dog does.

Hardly a "throw" toy
My dog likes to play fetch with things that have some sort of fur on them. I bought this hoping I could throw it quite far as opposed to most other squeak toys. Unfortunately the ball isn't heavy enough to battle the drag that the tail and fur creates. Decent toy, but wouldn't use it to play fetch with. I'm a former professional volleyball player and I can barely make it go 20 feet. My dog still LOVES it, it just doesn't go as far as I would like it to.

Three Stars
Much larger than expected. Had to give it to another dog as my dog couldn't carry it

Great Toy for Tugging and Chasing
My dog loves to chase thrown tennis balls then refuse to give them back, so this seemed like the perfect toy...she can chase and tug. The only problem is the ball inside does not bounce very much. It's also Very hard and when she shakes it from the tail end I'm afraid she's going to knock herself out if it hits her in the head! Still, she will play with it on her own which is a plus.

Dog loved the toy BUT only lasted a few days :(
I have a 6 years old 10 pounds Mini Pinscher and she LOVES this toy. However, she was able to chew it apart within a few days of use so that the end of the "tail" was torn completely open. If this was a more durable product I would recommend since my dog got so excited playing with it and hearing its squeaking noises.

The dog I bought it for LOVED it
Well, actually the dog I bought it for LOVED it. In fact, all three dogs in the house loved it. Two of them loved it just a little too much.It is the first toy that the dog I bought it for showed any interest in. I think it was because of the "fur". He proudly carried it around everywhere he went and would lie down and put his paw over it so the other dogs wouldn't take it. But eventually they did get it. :-(Unfortunately, it took those two dogs less than a day to break the "ball" that is inside and remove the squeaker. So if you are looking for a tough toy that can't be destroyed, this probably isn't right for you. But it accomplished what I needed it to and that was to spark some toy interest in a very reserved dog.I have already purchased a replacement for the "good" dog and will make sure he only gets it when the others can't get to it.

Low quality horrible toy
I received this toy last night for my puppy. I purchased it because it looked a lot like one I had bought for her around Christmas from pet-smart that we had recently lost. It was her favorite so I figured I would get her this one to relplace it. The fur is just thread weaved through a mesh. The rear end of the toy was bald after about 20 minutes of my dog playing with it. The squeaker in it lasted about two hours and the toy was trash within 3 hours of opening the package yesterday. Prodadly the lowest quality toy I have purchased for my dog ever.
