Good base I bought it for my 930 so I could mount a Burris Fastfire. The only issue with this is that I had to file 1/16" off the end of the two front mounting screws because they were too long and pushing down on the barrel extension which caused the bolt to slow down and even lock up. Other than that little mod I had to do its a good rail for a good price.

4 star for now until I use it more. Bought for mossberg 500.Simple to install, just remove the top screws then replace with the rail and the supplied screws in hex key. Feels solid, tried out two sights on it, one rifle type one red dot, both were on solid and after shaking the living day lights out of it u till I couldn't stand it the rail remained tight.

Great quality as expected from Weaver. What the information doesn't tell you is that it only works on 1997 and newer model 500's. Mine is a 1996 model and therefore has smaller set screw holes, so I have to order a different one from my local shop as it appears none of the ones on Amazon are for the older models. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars.

This rail is super easy to install. It took me less than a minute to throw on my Mossberg 500A. I just mounted optics to it and shot about two hundred rounds yesterday afternoon. It held up perfectly. This might be obvious to some, but with a stock Mossberg 500A, this rail is designed to mount to the top of the receiver only. Do not try to mount this to the forend or anywhere else.

Screwed down perfectly on my 535 turkey, and holds my red dot scope fine. Time will tell how it stands up to the thump 3" turkey loads put on it, but so far after a full box of shells, it's still exactly where its supposed to be.

this item took way too long to get here but that could be because of christmas rush. but the peoduct itself is perfect. it went on with zero problems, it light weight and looks great on my rifle. if you have a mossberg 500 and want to putt a red dot aim point on than this is the way to go

Bought this rail for mossberg 500a. It worked perfect after torquing to 16 inch lbs and haven't come off also used blue thread locker. Will soon buy one for a 10/22.

The photo for this product has 4 evenly spaced out holes. I was a bit nervous when I received the rail , but it still fits amazingly. Perhaps the seller can update the photo per each model # to reflect the actual product sent. Fast shipping , good quality and came with screws!
