I have read a review, that there is rubber/plastic smell and it is correct. I just removed a rubber ring which is in the inner side of cap which is unnecessarily provided and there is no smell now. No leaking, no smelling, no rust and also light weight Good product. 👌👍

To get rid of smell, just remove the black rubber ring which is in the inner side of cap which is unnecessarily provided. Okay at this price, NO leakage issues, just a stainless steel bottle, not a thermosteel, so don,t expect the water to be hot/cold for longer time.

My family decided to purge all our plastic bottles and go for steel ones, so after searching a lot of products i came upon this and brought it, so far its been great to use,but keep washing the bottles regularly.

1) Received as advertised in with right packaging2) Flask does not smell inside - either as a new product or on usage3) Only issue is while filling hot water from water dispenser - it transmits the heat to the hand
