This is the Hawaii I know!
Was looking for a chubby "Hula Uncle" as an equivalent to a chubby “Hula Auntie" bobble head I have. This is it! The friend I gave this to is Hawaiian and loves it! Takes her back home with real people. Fun.

Dave LOVES bumpy Roads.
Daughter bought this for the dashboard of her Jeep Wrangler. All I can say is Dave (what she named him) LOVES bumpy dirt roads. I can tell because he dances and always has a smile on his face. Great fun!Seriously though, at first I was concerned that this dashboard bobble would be a distraction or block line of sight. However, he is the perfect size to be below the line of sight of the end of the hood so no worries there. Install it to the right of center on the dash board and there is no distraction to the driver, while he entertains the passengers with abandon. He has been stuck on the dash for about a month now and the adhesive pad still holds strong, even after some pretty aggressive 4 wheeling.

It's little "Bradda Ed"!
We had the full-size Bradda Ed that we had intended to mount to the dashboard of my truck. But the original size Bradda Ed is a full eight-inches high and weighs a couple of pounds. It was heartbreaking that full-size Bradda Ed was just too damned big and heavy to be practical.Thank goodness I stumbled upon the "Mini Local Boy" item on Amazon. I took a second look and it's a miniature version of the full-size Bradda Ed. Well, mostly. This guy is four inches tall and a pretty decent scaled-down version of his big Bradda. His features aren't quite as sharp as big Bradda Ed, so it might be possible for my off-roading friends to wonder why I have a plump ugly hula girl on my dash. On the other hand, they'd wonder why I have a big fat hula man on my dash, so what the hell? It's not about the gender of the hula dancer, but more about the attitude. Bradda Ed embodies everything that's good about Hawaii and that's why he's on my dashboard. People either get that or they don't, and if they don't well, it doesn't really matter, does it?I'm looking forward to many, many miles with little Bradda Ed on my dash. Mahalo!

Cute little guy, makes you laugh
I’m giving this little guy a 3 star only because #1 - he just doesn’t shake all that much... my daughter had been begging and begging for a Hulu guy for her car, so I bought one for her for Christmas (which she said was her favorite gift) BUT he barely moves. ALSO, if you turn a corner he will fall over. So #2- you definitely have to get some other type of adhesive to stick him to you dashboard or he will not stick. BUT- I gave him 3 stars because he is quite cute, the craftsmanship is really quite good, the size it pretty perfect. I just wish he “jiggled” more and the adhesive was better. But my daughter loved him and was so happy.

Finally a wiggler.
I've had a hula girl dancing on my dash since I could remember.I bought a new car and decided it was time for a new hula girl since my old one was getting very faded (and her dress kept falling off)I ordered this figure and 2 others like it.This is the only one of the three that satisfied my needs. He has the spring at his waist needed to dance on my dashboard.I bought two others with no spring. I didn't know that when I bought them.Just solid figures no different from a statue. No wiggle or jiggle. No hula.

Let's dance
I purchased this little fellow a while back and since then he has faded in the sun. It was time to purchase a new one. Just for a little joy in the car to watch him dance with the music on the radio. I also purchased the little Hawaiian girl. The two of them brings laughter to us when we drive.
