Metlex Bathroom Toilet Roll Holder Spindle - Spring Roller - White Plastic - Set

I bought this prodcut hoping that it would adequately replace the spindle of our Mtelx fixture that had broken. However, although both ends were pointed and gtherefore held in the gap better than other products, teh spring in the spindle supplied was nowhere near as strong as the original and the spindle falls out at even the lightest touch. Overall, I do not think that the spindle is fit for purpose.

Saved buying a new holder so we could use existing wall fixings
