I've never stenciled before but this product make it easy and fun. What was my first medium? Hessian, a jute sack for a "farmhouse" style pillow. I plan to purchase more stencils and better my skills while I get more of the Parisian country look I've always wanted. Using the stencil was easy. Even for an idiot like me. : DMy jute was not very tightly woven. I'm sure that my results will be better next time with more practice and a tighter weave of material!

I used this stencil for recovering my dining room chairs. I wanted fancy French fabric but my budget said no to $39 per yard. I used drop clothes fabric and this stencil. I’mDelighted. Truly delighted.

The stencil is great. Unfortunately it was packaged poorly so arrived with a HUGE crease right across the middle. I really need the stencil for my shades so I am still trying to remove the crease. NEVER send a stencil without properly bracing it with heavy cardboard.
