I will admit that I got this mostly because I wanted to look impressive when I had people over for cocktails, but it turns out (obviously, I guess?) that it's actually really great. The double cup method for shaking versus a cup with a lid that fuses together if it gets too cold is obviously superior. I like how sleek everything is and how it matches without looking matchy matchy. One of the cups is a tad stained from the first or second wash, but I blame that on the very hard water where I live, where calcium ruins everything eventually. It comes with a cute booklet with recipes for the most classic cocktails, which is a nice (if not particularly original) touch, though given that it's a "professional" kit, I think it would maybe be a bit more fun to have a booklet that has a glossary of terms like "dash," or maybe some kind of explanation of why all those particular tools are essential to building a home bar of professional caliber. But maybe I'm overthinking this? Regardless, a solid choice that is serving me well, functionally and socially.

I work as a professional bartender and this $15 kit is literally all you need for cocktailing on the go, the Boston shakers are high quality and seal very nicely and keep from leaking. It makes a great housewarming gift for any cocktail enthusiast and it’s super high quality for the money, for 15 bucks I would recommend this to anyone. As a tip, with any stainless steel, make sure it is wiped dry after after cleaning to keep water spots from forming and keep it looking pristine and professional.
