Overhauling older vacuums can be easy if you find the right parts! I’m breathing easier thanks to this HEPA exhaust filter, and the vacuum works better than ever. I bought extras and saved the listing for future purchase!

I have an old vacuum I bought off Ebay over 15 years ago. I used it a few times then stored it away. I brought it out again recently and realized I'd never changed the Hepa filter. This fits my vacuum perfectly. I selected this based on the product number so that I was sure to have a match.

I found a vacuum on the street and it just needed the belt replaced. I was happy to find this hepa filter.

I thought I had this properly snapped in to the vacuum, but turns out it was loose and not catching the fine particulate dust. It wasn't until several uses later that it fell off and looked clean that it became obvious that it wasn't doing its job.So I pushed it back and seemed like it was fine for a few months, but just now the vacuum fell backwards and hit the filter square-on, breaking off the plastic tab that was holding it to the back, and so it fell out again. And again it looked clean, so apparently it still wasn't seated right and catching dirt, like my previous filters have done.

It fits my 20+ years old Eureka model 4481 BH-2 perfectly!

Snapped right into my Eureka 4475. Someday, if this one ever breaks, I would rather have a bagless vacuum with washable filters, like a Shark. The design of this model means plastic waste in the landfill and the need to purchase filters like this.The new filter's plastic housing is bright yellow.
