Top King Boxing Muay Thai Shorts Normal or Retro Style Size S, M, L, XL, 3L, 4L (Buakaw-Black,S)

These shorts are amazing, but as others have mentioned, be careful when selecting the size. I purchased the Black/Gold style in a size 3L given the description states that size is appropriate for 33 inch waist. However, when I received the shorts, the sizing label on the packe stated it was a XXL (converted to US sizing I assume) which is meant for 34 inches. Therefore, while the waist in a good fit given the elastic structure, the legs and hip area is mush too large. Therefore, I will go down a size with my next order.REVIEW UPDATE (06/13/2016)Satisfied with the product, I decided to order two additional pairs, but this time dropping in size. The fit was better, as there wasn't as much material in the hips. Authentic Top King product. I am a 30-32 waist and size Large fits quite snug (no need to tighten or tie drawstring). Please pay attention THERE IS A HEART ON SHORTS. So, pretty girly lol. I am a male muay thai practitioner and bought them fully aware of the pink and turquoise, in your face colorway. These loud colors and even pink are popular among Thai fighters, you can see many examples of male fighters wearing pink shorts. However, I did not realize there was a heart in the script until someone (a girl) pointed this out. Well, fortunately I'm comfortable with my sexuality, so I will continue rocking them with the same confidence as previously intended! Small shiny metallic fibers from the turquoise elements were fraying/falling off before and after first wash. There were some shiny, turquoise fibers in the lint trap after a drying cycle. I hope they hold up well, we will see.

This shorts are... very short. Shorter than normal Thai shorts. For prospective, I am 5’7, 165LBs, and I purchased a pair of medium. The shorts were shorter than my compression shorts. If you plan on buying a pair of these, PLEASE go at least one size up. Other than the size, they are great. They have a little bit of padding on the side which is pretty helpful in the ring. They also are very durable. I’ve had these for a few months and I haven’t even seen a stitch get loose. I do recommend this product but you will definitely have to take a close look into size

To my amazement and despite many of the reviews, the product fits great and has accurate sizing information. My waist size is usually 29 inches, so I went with the large (28 to 30) and it fits great. The shorts also look great and feel silky smooth on the inside despite the embroidery. I'm a shorter male at 5'8" and the length is also perfect for me. If you're much taller, I suggest paying close attention to the out seam length.

I purchased the Retro Red 2 (XXL) and am incredibly happy with the look, fit, and feel of these shorts. The outseam measure, from top of the waistband to the bottom of the leg, is 14". The waistband measures 2". I wear a size 32 in the waist and the shorts don't fit loose or tight, they fit perfectly fine without having to tie the drawstring. The length of the leg took some getting used to, as they show a decent amount of thigh. However, they don't bind when I kick and have never given me any issues during clinch/sparring. They also loosen up a bit after a few washes. I grew accustomed to the length and now prefer these shorts, as well as the "retro" style in general, to my other "normal" Muay Thai shorts. I really like the ruby red color, which is true to the picture advertised. The only negative thing I have to say is that after some uncounted number of washes, I noticed that the coloring on some of the patches had faded off (as you can see up close in one of my images). This effect will be accelerated by warm/hot water washes and scrubbing, so I suggest washing them in cold water and wringing them. All together, a fantastic pair of shorts!

Love these shorts, they fit as described. I'm 5'10 190lbs. If I wear them at the waste though they catch my legs when I kick so I have to pull them up past my belly button which makes them super short. I don't mind it but some.of you might. They end up being just a hair shorter then my compression boxers. I would get 1 size larger if I could reorder just so I could wear them lower without them catching my legs when I kick.

Everyone in their momma says to size up and so I did when I bought this. I was 130 lbs 5'2" when I bought this and normally wear a size medium in almost all of my muay thai shorts so I bought the large. BIG MISTAKE!!! They were huge but nothing like a good all rolling down the waist part couldn't fix. But now that I'm 120lbs yeah that trick doesn't work anymore. They feel like I'm wearing diapers when I wear them now. If I would have bought medium i would still be able to wear them now. The design is super cool but the thread is starting to come off after the first that I wore it. Namazu has the same design and I bought that one for half of the prize. No threads are coming off.

These were my second pair of Muay Thai shorts and I are my favorite of the two. The fit is nice and the length is Bette than my Fairtex ones. I would strongly recommend them if you are looking for a new pair of Muay Thai shorts!!! IMPORTANT: make sure you check the size chart before purchasing as you may find your size in these shorts different than what you would buy locally.
