This is a fun little toy, but could be dangerous in the wrong hands. When it opens, it is very fast and forceful. Demonstration videos show it breaking a bottle as it "shoots out" from the person's hand. Pointed in the wrong direction, that could be very bad.

Do not buy!! Would like to leave no stars but I don’t have that option. Ur wasting your money it’s a piece of junk. I just received mine in the mail today I was excited to try it out. I pushed the button it opened up slowly and will not retract at all so once you open it it’s pretty much stuck open. The tip is poorly glued on and barely still hanging on on the one I got. It’s flimsy if I was to tap something with it it would bend. Save urself some $ and search for a better one. Just my recommendation

Felt like secret agent superhero cool guy. Does not work for real defense, breaks easily, leaves you defenseless.

It does what it’s made to do, but be careful. This is a spring loaded thing and don’t complain if it hits your computer or TV because it is too close. It cut my finger as I closed it, so I would seem it dangerous for kids. It’s value is reasonable considering it’s made of some cheap metal but still works well. It is hard to work. I actually cut my finger doing closing it. It looks nice. It is entertaining once you know how to use it.Update: I think I might return it. I recommend learning how to use this in person, I cut myself yet again. It is dangerous and it doesn’t make a scratch, it cuts you quickly and it hurts. If you want it, get good training.

I don't understand all the bad reviews, it works exactly like it should. It is kind of a pain to reset but watch the video instructions and it's manageable. Wouldn't necessarily recommend for kids as the staff extends very rapidly.

you're better off just lighting a $10 bill on fire

This thing DESTROYED my $2000 television. This should be advertised as a weapon, not a toy or a wand. It is highly spring loaded and when my husband opened it up it shot over 10-feet across our living room at a high speed and slammed into our high-def television... which is now destroyed. This is NOT a toy for children. Not something easy for use. DO NOT BUY! Expect to cut yourself trying to put this back together.

Very fun to use and trick people but you gotta use it carefully, because it’s dangerous and can cut you if you misuse it.
