SensationailExpress Gel, a Dozen Rosa's

I have loads of sensationail colours. I prefer the express over the normal kit. It can come out clumpy sometimes - especially the glitter ones like "all day i rose" but i find shaking it well and sometimes wiping all the polish off the brush with a lint free wipe helps, although this means a fair bit of wastage. It its very easy to end up putting too much on but if you want to do your own gel nails at home you this is a good way to start! My favourite colours are "mauve i or lose it", "berried treasure" and "all day i rose". I find i am able to wear one colour for a week before it starts to chip but "capping" the end of the nail helps prevent that. I tend to wear it on press on nails rather than my own as my nails break very easily and i find buffing the top of the nail so it isnt glossy and smooth helps the polish sit better and last longer. Im deducting a star because as i said above it is sometimes gloopy but i cant complain otherwise.

Thought I'd finally have a go at 'gel' nails. I've been doing my own since Covid nightmare began with normal nail polish as salons closed for my usual gel overlays. This seemed an easier option without the need for base & top coat, just a lamp to dry the colour. I'm certainly no expert but think I did ok for my first attempt. First time I haven't smudged a nail in 11 months!!

This seems like a great idea. 2 coats of varnish and cured under the lamp - so much quicker than the whole process. HOWEVER it doesn’t even last 12 hours before bits are chipped off. Not good. For me that is the whole point of gel nails over ordinary nail varnish - the staying power. I will have to go back the full process.So if it’s cheaper than the usual ones - buy it but do the whole priming, bottom and top coats.

Polish was a lot darker than on the box, looks ok but makes my skin look very pale. Wish I had chosen another colour.Plus side it only took two coats and set under my sensationail lamp which is the old version. (Just gave it a bit longer). Hasn't chipped and this is week three. Would recommend the quick, easy application but not the colour.

Love the colour but chips really easily, would recommend top and base coat as well!

I've been using sensationail express for a few years now and love how easy it is! I got this colour in the started pack with the lamp mad it's always been one of my favourites... so was rather disappointed when it arrived all gloomy and stuck to the brush... with no obvious options to speak to the supplier about the item... unfortunately completely unusable!

Although quick this really peels quick on me like 3 days. The prim base colour and then top coat from this brand however lasts a good week at least. Perhaps my nails are too oily or dry. Will try with the primer or base perhaps as colours nice

Chips so quickly - didn’t even last a day on some nails. Despite being “express”, this still needs a top and base coat to be effective so not worth it.
