I’ve been plagued by acne most of my adult life starting at age 19 lasting into my late 20’s. At 30, I’ve finally stopped the cystic breakouts but I’m left with scaring, which is now another battle I find myself dealing with. I’m in California where, for the most part, everything has been shutdown due to COVID-19, including my regular dermatologist/esthetician. It was also getting rather expensive at almost $300 a visit every 5-6 weeks to rotate between different treatments. While I’m working from home and we’re all wearing masks, I decided to invest in some of the devices my esthetician uses to clear any existing acne and help my acne scaring. I’ve started microneedling with a skin pen and I’ve started incorporating glycolic acid peels rotating with the microneedling sessions and AHA serums a few times a week. I’ve tried almost anything labeled as glycolic acid from expensive brands you find at Sephora to cheaper (more economical) brands here on Amazon and online. I found this brand bc I use their HA serum for microneedling and I love it so I figured I’d give this a go as well. It’s been about 3 weeks now and I’ve only used it maybe 5-6 times (every few days) and WOW! Not only has this improved the smoothness and bounce of my skin, it’s faded some red pigmentation I’ve had which always takes suchhh a long time to fade on my skin tone. I do notice slight results the morning after I use it, but the real results happen 2-3 days after using it. That’s when I really notice the decrease in pigmentation and the smoothness on my cheeks I’ve never really had before. I’ve done microneedling for the last 3 years off and on, I’ve probably had about 7 treatments in total with a big break in between the first 5 and last 2 where I’m now trying to correct new acne scaring so I know how my skin responds to microneedling. It helps the texture enormously, but I never had that baby smooth feeling I have after using this. My foundation glides on and makeup application looks so good! This product is incredible and I’m very happy. I’ve just started using their retinol on the off days with this serum so I’ll have to report back on how both work. I’ve also been thinking about ordering the niacinamide as well. For the fair price of these products, I don’t have buyers remorse if something doesn’t work out. If you’re on the fence about it, get it and start slowly. AHAs can do wonders for your skin! I’m so impressed!

I am 66 and began using this glycolic acid, 10%, five weeks ago. Immediately upon using for just two days I was sure that I wanted this in my daily beauty routine. I quickly reordered so I would'nt ever run out. It tingled my skin for the first two days then the tingles stopped. Now it just feels like a slightly thick smooth liquid when I smooth it on my face, neck and decolletage. Prior to my purchase, I had numerous breakouts all over my face. And unfortunately my skin gets a red mark after after each blemish heals. This Glycolic Acid seems to get rid of the dead skin layers. My complexion has improved each day. I used to get tiny blackheads on my nose, but now they are gone or so small that I can only see a few with the aid of a 10x magnifying mirror. My post acne red marks are fading faster than ever. 😊In all honesty however, I do use this product more frequently than the guidelines given here on Amazon. I probably use a larger amount each time too because I like to spread it onto my face, avoiding skin around my eyes, so it doesn't drag on my skin but moves freely with my fingers. I use it morning and night followed by face serum and night cream after cleansing at night. In the morning I apply after cleansing followed by sunscreen, serum and day cream. I allow everything to absorb before continuing with primer, foundation, concealer, bronzer, blush and setting powder. Lastly I use setting spray. Honestly, I see a change in my skin texture and the ease of applying my foundation. The results are no longer splotchy and dull. My complexion is now smooth, even and well hydrated. All of my makeup apples easier and seems to actually penetrate the skin. Happy to say that I am growing older and enjoying how great my complexion looks at 66! I will always use this product!

This is not a chemical peel it’s a serum. I bought it because I thought it was a chemical peel. The first time I used it, it burned a little. I used it 2-3 times a week per the directions and didn’t see a change. I use it just about every night now and OMG my skin looks amazing. I can’t stop looking at my face. It took away my acne. I didn’t even breakout on my period. My skin is so smooth and even tone. I have had acne all my life and nothing has worked until now. I wish I a before and after to prove it. This stuff really works. Use it every night on clean skin; I washed my face with dial soap, used whitch hazel as a toner and rubbed in this serum every night. I bought this bottle in June I’m buying my second bottle now December. I got better results using it nightly.

I started using for my dark spots on my face. I have combination skin/ African-American female (just for reference) my face has cleared up a lot since using this in my faces cleaning regiment. I use a benzoyl peroxide 10%, turmeric face cleanser, a toner, then this product, and then in the morning time I use a Moisturizing sunscreen. Making sure to wash face twice a day doing these steps. My skin tone has even out and has a noticeable glow. I had a little burning on my t zone the first few times I used it but once my skin started to peel I noticed it was lighter in those spots turned out to be a good thing. I have had a few little breakouts on days that I missed washing my face at night but in the morning I apply this to my face and it cleared it right up a new staple in my face routine. Most definitely has helped me on my journey to clear dewy skin.

The media could not be loaded. Update after using it for about a year, It doesn’t peel the skin but it’s great for hyperpigmentation on the lips. It’s sticky when applied to the face and it does stings. Good for exfoliating the skin, you can also pair it with products that get rid of dark spots to treat hyperpigmentation. I give it 3 stars because when I bought it they describe it as a peel which it is not. But overall it’s a good product.

Was not expecting much, but this serum does deliver good results. Be careful don’t use around eye area. Recommend!
