Lifeprint2x3 Portable Photo and Video Printer

Mostly in love with this little printer!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I bought this without a lot of reviews, so I wanted to add my own two cents. I got a Me and My Big Ideas Happy Planner for my birthday, and the spaces on the pages are perfectly suited for the photos printed from this kind of printer. I also wanted to be able to print pictures on the go for travel journals.I had almost hit “purchase” on another printer when I stumbled across LifePrint, and was so excited by the AR feature I bought this instead. The AR feature no longer prints a username, just the LP symbol, and I haven’t noticed significant glitches when trying to play back my videos. My friends I’ve showed it to love the concept and now they all want one too! I will probably get one for my friend for her wedding guestbook.Like I’ve seen in reviews of many of the printers that utilize a cartridge-free ZINK system, the color saturation and clarity can be a problem, and this is really my only complaint aside from occasional connectivity issues and double-printing of photos when there is a connectivity issue. I’ve found the color issue to be very variable. Pictures tend to print a bit on the dark side, but I edit my photos outside of the program by lightening them up, and have had great success there. It’s a tiny portable printer, I didn’t expect super high-quality pictures.I haven’t tried the social sharing aspect of it because no one else I know has the printer or the app, so I can’t comment on that aspect.Overall very happy with my new little toy, and paper is cheaper than some of the competitors too! Attaching a video to see the Hyperphoto in action!

An Elegant Little Printer with Amazing Quality
I've been considering purchasing one of these printers for a while now, but finally decided to go for it after seeing posts from a wedding - I recently got engaged and thought this would be the perfect way to print off fun wedding memories, and I was not disappointed! The printer itself is sleek and compact, the perfect size to throw in my purse, which makes the quality of the photos it prints all the more impressive. I wasn't expecting such crisp, high-quality images, but all the ones I've printed have come out looking just as good as they did on my phone screen! The quality of the product is evident, even down to the laminated instructional booklet, and the entire augmented reality photo/video concept feels like the perfect cross between the cute aesthetic of tangible, polaroid photos and the fun and ease of customizing the image AND having all of the action on video! The printer required almost no set-up, all I had to do was power it on, sync it to my IPhone using bluetooth, and load the film. I thought the film might be a tad difficult to load (I'm coming off of my experience with a number of old and newer model polaroid cameras), but all I had to do was open the package and pop it right in. It came fully charged so it worked right out of the box. The app was easy to find in the app store and super simple to navigate and work with - I immediately got lost in deciding what to print first! You have the ability to choose 11-second long videos and pair them with a still image (which doesn't have to be from the same video), as well as add effects, stickers, drawings, etc. to the image you print. Watching the image come to life in the app is the best part, and I love being able to record the moment to post or send to friends! The print time is super quick and the adhesive back on the zinc paper eliminates the need for tiny frames or strings of photo clips - I've been sticking the prints right onto the wall! It might be a small thing to note, but I also love that the adhesive backs on the photo paper doesn't peel off easily on its own as it means you can keep them as regular photos if you want to throw them in something like a memory box.Overall, I have loved my entire experience with Lifeprint and am SO looking forward to printing off amazing memories from my big day and everyday in between!

I love this idea and saw it work in the store ...
I love this idea and saw it work in the store really well. I got it as a birthday gift but whats great about it is its portability but there is no on/off switch so if you take it to where you are going, the battery is dead by the time you get there - also the top comes off so easily and then all the film falls out. I think I will wait until the next generation to buy this again.

Great little printer, don't expect photographer printed prints.
This little printer is something special. Inkless printer, I could not help but wonder how that worked. It is all in the paper. After reading how the temperature in paper would work, I knew that I could not expect the best photographs! Especially not in a 2x3 photo. Overall this is a great little printer, actually bought it for my wife, which she loves it. The hyper photo is cool too, just keep in mind in order to use it the app must be downloaded, so that means your friends, etc have to download it as well. The print speed is pretty quick, about less than 30 sec's to print it out. The paper it prints on is cool, you can tear the back off and stick them on things. Just bought a pack of 50 papers, so will be printing out a lot more. I read reviews people saying there is no power button or way to tell if it is on, but there is a power button, along with indicator lights to let you know what is going on with the device.

Steaks across pictures
Just slightly a year, the picture quality becomes like that. Streaks across the prints. The refill package that I received is already yellowish 😔 not worth the investment buying this

Very impressed!!!
I really didn't have high expectations for this, just wanted to see if was any good - and now I LOVE it. I'm terrible with technology, but this app is so straightforward I had no problem using it! The instructions are clear and I had no problems setting up or printing my first photo. I went from downloading the app to printing a video in less than 10 minutes - and that includes printing and unpacking time. I also love that you get to pick which part of your video is the 'cover photo' for printing. The video is also so clear, I didn't think it would be as high quality as it was. I wasn't sure about this at first, but I've had the product for a few days now and absolutely LOVE it!

the hyperphoto doesnt seem to work with my phone (OPPO). app needs some work.
I spoke with support who were able to get the photo to 'hyperprint' with a watermark in the bottom corner, but when i use the camera to make the photo move, it says 'making magic happen, please wait a second' , but that doesnt seem to be resulting in any photo movement. photo quality is ok, but i guess can't expect much from such a small printer. The colours are bright but its a little bit blurry, and there are small lines across the photo. I also seem have noticed if i turn off the printer after printing, while the print image is still in the que, it will print it again when i turn the printer on. The app could use some additional features also and more capabilites as sime buttons look clickable, but are not. eg the three lines in the corner of the print image in cue looks like one of those menu buttons on some website but doesnt do anything other than when click. Maybe is a bug?

It’s not bad, but not great
Pictures can come out streaky and dark. Battery dies VERY quickly. The LifePrint app can often stretch the photo and make it look distorted, which wastes the moderately expensive photo paper. Just pay the extra few dollars and get the instax printer.

Printing Quality is Not There
I’ve been using this printer for a few weeks now, and have been through about 4 packs of film. The app works well and the GIF feature is a unique idea (although I haven’t tried it).I like the size of the printer and the photos, they stick great. My main issue with the printer is the quality of the photos is poor. Images print slightly fuzzy/blurry... they lose detail. The worst part is that they print dark and with a VERY blue tint. I’ve been editing every photo before printing to lighten them and add warmth. This has helped but certainly not solved the issue.Maybe I should have returned it... I’ll continue to use for now because of the size and convenience. Ultimately I will be buying a new printer though. Would not recommend.

Bad photo quality
I was really excited for this printer but all the photos I’ve printed have been discoloured. I’ve tried fixing this issue by editing all my photos in the app before printing but nothing seems to work. The printer size is great, the app works well but I bought this for the photo quality and it just isn’t there. If you’re looking to buy one just spend a bit more money and go with a different brand.

Great little printer with easy setup
The setup of this printer was very easy and the print quality is great. Make sure you order extra film if you buy this. Great value for the money and quick shipping. Highly recommend.
