I've searched locally to find a swim cap that will fit. I gave up and decided to review products on line. Believe me I reviewed many caps!! My hair is medium to long. Came quickly, nice color. However, it was advertised as being a swim cap 'for long haired girls'. Well, ok, even though I'm 54 years old, I'll give them a pass on the 'girls'. However, my mid back, average thickness hair just _barely_ fits into this cap. So maybe they define 'long hair' as maybe shoulder length. If so, this cap will work fine for most people. Howvever, word to other actual 'long hairs'? This cap will probably not work for you.

This was my second attempt at a swim cap. My first was too small bc i have long hair..but even it kept my hair more dry than this one! As soon as my head was submerged, only halfway, the cap filled up. I had my hair secure and it fit perfectly...everything lined up and was where it should have been, ears, hair, etc.. .it just did not work at all like it was supposed to.

Purchased this for my granddaughter who has long thin hair (she's 5). I was hoping it would keep her hair dry during her swim lesson, but it doesn't work as well as expected. The water still seeps in quite a bit so her hair isn't soaked but there's only one dry spot which is at the top of her head. Also, she can't hear when wearing it, so in the event we're calling her she doesn't have a clue because she can't hear us. I like the quality; the color pink is pretty, and I guess it's better than nothing. Also, the price was decent and we received it immediately. I honestly don't think there is a perfect cap.

I purchased this cap in orange after it was recommend foe long hair. This isn't just a cap, it is cRap. It does not stay in place. Water leaks in around the ear pockets. There is no "extra stretch." I have a medium sized noggin and hair which falls 3 inches below my shoulder. This cap barely held, and it slid despite squeezing like a too-tight birth control device. Would not recommend!

If you have a large head like me, this product won't give you the desired result. It fit me like a normal cap, and snapped after 3 months of use. There was definitely extra room for long hair, but my big head and bigger hair (I have an afro) took up all of the extra space. It is a good cap if you have a larger head and are just looking for a larger cap, but if you are actually looking for something that will accommodate both your hair and head, you might want to look elsewhere.

As I'm a "Lap" swimmer 5 days a week for exercise . . . you can imagine how many swim caps I go thru every year. This is a terrific fitting cap and I always feel comfortable swimming in it. You are not going to believe this, but the cap actually keeps my hair somewhat dry & protected. I never feel it pulling my hair when I put it on or remove it. I'm going to purchase one in another color. Wish they had some prints . . . for fun!
