great files, wish they would list the width in the description... 11/16ths wide, about 4/32-5/32 thick. Length of cutting area about 6inches

This will become your next “First File.”
Cuts like a beauty, with a consistency all files should have. A Bonnie and a joy forever. Even at 00 I find the cut very fine and controlled. It’s the first file I reach for. Don’t be scared by the fish on the handle instead of the bunny. Grobet is Vallorbe.

I will always buy Swiss or German from now on
Not great quality. There’s a little piece missing on the end, which could do damage to my silver. It doesn’t glide like my Swiss and German files. I’m using this one as my “crappy” one that I use on my steel tool to file clean, perfectly straight ends. I tried, will not be purchasing this brand again. Not for what I paid. I can get a much better file for the same price.

I bought this based on an answer provided saying that this is a checkering file. It's a fine file, but it is not a checkering file.
