I think it’s fine for what it is a mini trash can. Looks sleek and will blend into most car consoles. Construction is not the best. In order to clean out this item you have 2 options plush the “lid” I use this term loosely as it is all one piece of silicone with a cut along the top that just sort of hangs in place anyhow in order to clean it you can push the “lid” up or down I guess and just shake the can over another trash and empty the contents that hopefully are all dry and not gross like chewed gum or something or option 2 remove the silicone sleeve from the plastic base but it’s really tricky and pretty hard to remove. Also let’s have some sense here on the construction of this item the whole cylinder is about height of a soda can but not as thick, the silicone sleeve or top is almost the length of the entire item, but the plastic bottom is only less than half the the side of the silicone sleeve. So if the item is filled to the top when most people empty any trash and you remove the plastic bottom the trash will fall everywhere so let’s hope you already standing over the trash you are using to empty this little plastic trash can. Not sure if that makes sense but it’s hard to explain and I tried to take pics but I got the sleeve off once and now I can’t do it again. Sorry. Anyhow long story short it works for my use basically just straw wrappers and a lot of empty Crystal Light single serve drink mix packets in the car. I don’t chew gum and I am pretty good about any other food like items in my car and I am the only person that drives my car. If I had small kids I wouldn’t dare try this item in a car as I know it would gross in just a few days. Also price is fine for what it is and again it looks sleek and I can work with it but honestly I bet O could have done better overall in quality and pricing.

I really like this trash can. It’s about the size of a water bottle. I typically put straw wrappers or receipts into my car door and throw those out once a week. When it’s super windy, it can litter out so I wanted a simple trash can.This is silicone but has a sturdy plastic bottom. You can push the lid in for easy disposal. It fit perfectly in my normal cup holder and inside of my door cup holder (2014 Ford Escape). I’m keeping it in my car door.If you tend to have a lot of trash accumulate in your car, I would buy a larger trash can that can strap to the back of your seat.

This is about the side of a water bottle, so will not fit your soda cup! You will need a bigger trash container for that. This is perfect for the main trash I accumulate in my car - wrappers, receipts, etc. It fits in my driver side door cup holder so is not conspicuous. I can b=pack a lot in to it. The top adheres to the base, so not easy to open, but I can also empty it through the lid flap.

I needed a simple car garbage can for our car, and this one fits the bill. It holds just enough and fits well in our door frame without rattling around. It can be a bit hard to clean, since pulling off the silicon top was a bit difficult. Overall, this product is definitely worth the price!

Great idea for a small trash can for the car

Good product but the silicone proves faulty. I love having my mini trashcan but it's a little difficult to shove things into it and then clean it out because paper wants to stick to the rubber. Worth the buy, though; but I'd recommend a hard plastic opposed to the soft silicone.
