Cicero
A great lawyer. Maybe equaled but never eclipsed. The translation is excellent. A stimulating read for any trial attorney. Much to learn.

Recommended.
A must read for anyone studying Roman history. A fair bit of hard to find details contained in the footnotes.

Boring but good example of rhetoric
Cicero is the master of rhetoric. This book will provide many examples of rhetoric used to good effect, but the downside is this is an extremely boring book.If you would like to read this, do it after you've read Ad Herrenium as that is the more useful rhetorical book focusing on the theory of rhetoric. This book is pure examples of the art in practice.Delivery on time and in excellent condition as expected.

Beyond reasonable doubt a great read, guilty for poor binding
I'd owned this book for several months and recently decided to read it. When I picked it up to read it, the binding started to come undone (Bearing in mind I have not touched this book except when taking out the packaging and then picking it up off the bookshelf) which rendered the book unreadable. I ended up having to, regrettably, bin the book.

Great Product!
Excellent book, is really helping me with my literature essay on Cicero's defence speeches. Worth the money.

An intellectual delight
Did Pro Milone for Higher School Certificate and fell in love with Cicero's prose. Very happy to rediscover him after decades: it is so intelligent yet smooth and beautifully constructed. It is like drinking good wine - a lasting pleasure.

That the item will be delivered on time and without complications.
I shall use this item for reference while reading one of the speeches in the original. I have already gleaned from it a lot of useful information. The book is well presented and in good condition unaffected by transit.
