The Return of the Feminine and the World Soul

This is one of my favorite books! Its not a heavy read and has so many beautiful yet profoundly expressed gems about the interface of life and spirituality.

This is one of the most extraordinary revelations of inspired truth and wisdom I have had the profound privilege to read in the past 20 years. In this work of grace and compassion, Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee helps the spiritual seeker to know in no uncertain terms, that we are brothers and sisters all, that it is possible to imagine the living reality of "On Earth As It Is In Heaven". In the text, there were many startling and synchronous reflections of wisdom that have also arisen from the Beloved within the ground of my own being. This joyous confirmation helps the seeker to know we are not alone, rather we are AL-ONE. There is the work of awakening to be done. Have you heard the call? Will you respond? Will you dare to embrace your own Shadow so that together, we may embrace the Shadow of the world? In this call to Life and Redemption, everyone and everything belongs. Let there be light as we embrace the darkness, Luciat!

This is one of my most treasured books and is definitely in my top 5.With that said, the wisdom and encouragement in this book for women is unparalleled.One thing I find interesting is, sources say by 2020 about 60% of the world's population will own a business. A lot of the business training that I've come across has been very heart-centered, i.e. feminine. It is no longer enough to want to just make money. You have to have a big why and that why must come from your heart in order to keep your integrity.It is 2014, so if you place money over everything or have a corrupt heart, people will find out about you and they wont do business with you.So the return of the feminine is coming back in a major way and I can already see it in the business circles I run around in.

This is a marvelous well written book by a very knowledgeable Master on Sufism. Following a slightly different Spiritual Path my Daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed this book and gained a lot of Spiritual Wisdom from this writing. I would recommend this book to any person seeking, a way, to know themselves and to know God.

Since the early 80's I've been aware of a major change taking place. I couldn't explain it,I just knew that a shift was taking place and that it had to do with the rise of Feminine Consciousness. Over many years I have searched for answers and, finally, I found this book that put into words what my soul knew instinctively.This collection of writings and transcribed talks bring clairity to the imbalance we see in our world today by showing us how the Patriarchal mind set has separated life from its sacred core. The Sacred Feminine, the matrix of creation, is awakening and will rise to bring much needed balance back to our world.This book would make a wonderful gift for all young women and open minded men.

Dr. Vaughan-Lee's writing is beautiful as usual, with many wonderful ideas on the spiritual uniqueness and importance of woman in saving our world. However, capitalized masculine pronouns to describe Friend, Beloved, Creator God, Creator and His world, etc all throughout a book about the return of the feminine seem oxymoronic, serving to keep women where we've been for 3000 years. When he says,"Every soul carries the imprint of His face, the memory of His nearness," the statement is not true for me - I reject the idea of the spiritual Beloved having a face, and even moreso a masculine face. To me It is a very real Light energy without gender, color, race, nationality or age. Nor do I accept his qualifier that "He" is not masculine: "And when I refer to the unknowable aspect of the divine that is beyond all form or knowing as He, It has no gender: that "He" is not masculine as opposed to feminine." In my opinion, repeated references to a singular male deity in a discussion of our need to end patriarchy seems to honor that very system.In spite of this observation, I highly recommend the book to both women and men.Jaquelyn McCandless

A beautifully written work from talks by Vaughan-Lee. Read it slowly and allow the words to heal you so you can participate in reversing the damage we have caused to our planet. I read some each morning to open my heart.I have bought many copies of this book and given them to women I know will understand him and follow through. The time is now.

Love this man and he "gets it" . Kind, loving, compassionate. I saw him on Oprah and some friends recommended the book also. Lovely all the way through.

I absolutely loved this book &Llewellyn's teachings ~ the oneness of us all & how we have been denied the one crucial piece in our World for centuries ~ the Feminine energy/essence/spirit.How the author references so many various teachings; God, Christ, the Bible, Hermetics, Plato, Taoism, Sufism, the Qur'an, the Gnostics, Buddhism, Jung's teachings, alchemy, breathwork, spirituality and consciousness ~ brings forth the understanding that ALL IS ONE. We are the SPARK, we are a part of ALL THAT IS, we are ONE.This, more than any other book I've read (and I have a huge library of self-help, spirituality books), brought me to a depth of understanding of who we truly are ~ and Llewellyn did it with such beautiful writing, many references & pure honest observation of how we got to where we are right now.I have read through it once & "dog-earred" more pages than I ever have, and am now skimming through those pages ~ highlighting & making notes before I fully read it again :) It has brought me such peace during this time in our society/World.I have highly recommended it to many friends, and suggest most of the World ought to read it!!Will definitely be seeking more books from this amazing author.

I enjoyed this book very much...the message, the language and the authors voice. It is a way into the mystic life...

A wonderful exposé of the spirituality of our times - deeply thought out, balanced and encouraging. A call to the way of our innate wisdom...

I was really looking forward to reading this book after seeing the author on tv with Oprah, but I was rather dissapointed with the book it seemed very repetitive all the way through in fact it was boring to me it didn't keep me interested at all. i have treid on several occasions to try and get right into this book but no it didn't 'hold me' at all. So I'm affraid I ca't give it a good rating..normally books 'have' me entransed that I can't put them down this one didn't do it...sorry but if there was a message from the author I simply didn't get it.

Interesting book with a clear and poignant message.A lot of words though to say this message, it could be combined to 4 chapters.
