Surfer Girl (1963) è uno dei dischi più famosi ed iconici dei Beach Boys. Qui nella ristampa Stereo (c’è anche la versione Mono) della Analogue Productions, etichetta americana specializzata nella produzione di ristampe audiophile su vinile 200 grammi. Il trasferimento è stato curato da Kevin Gray del Cohearent Studio, direttamente dai nastri master e sotto la supervisione del leader del gruppo: Brian Wilson.Il risultato è un suono spettacolare che riporta l’ascoltatore a rivivere le atmosfere degli anni ’60.Il disco fa parte di una serie di 14 uscite, che ripercorrono in 14 dischi tutta la carriera dei Beach Boys, dal 1962 (Surfin Safari) al 1973 (Holland).Copertina pesante, laminata, vinile stampato alla Quality Records, busta interna tipo MFSL.Qualità allo stato dell’arte.Voto artistico: 9Voto tecnico: 9

I bought it for the look of the photo, kind of nostalgic and the songs are apt for its time . I loved how they made records in the early years. I am a vinal lover collector ect... I have no other words...I enjoy holding such a great record sleave in my hands as it is being played. I have much of The Beach boys on other discs , but to have them holding that surf board on the beach tells its own story a picture tells a thousand words

Great LP

このアルバムが発売されたのは、１９６３年。東京オリンピックの前年である。その昔好きだったThe Surfer Moon　この曲を無性に聴きたくなって、アナログ盤を購入した。彼らのサウンドもジャケットのファッションンにも、その昔、憧れていたアメリカの姿がここにある。

山下達郎氏の影響もあり、最初にビ－チ・ボーイズを聴くのは、「サ－ファ－・ガ－ル」だと思い、購入致しました。専門的な事は、私の知識では乏しく、最適なレポ－トは出来ませんが、素敵な作品です。皆さまも、是非どうぞ。
