Can we see some proof that the rfid protection works?

Difficult as an end user to send proof. It has blocked the low power card key at a hotel I stayed in on vacation. However, the high power card key I use at my church building is not blocked. I will also note that the elastic band holding the plates together broke within the first month. The hard edge of one of the plates cut it, apparently. I have fixed this by using a section of bicycle inner tube.

I have one of these wallets and just need the “rubber band” that goes on it, Howbdo I get one?!!

I just bought a new one. When it came, it looked like they had upgraded the band to last longer. I also figured that a new band might be almost the same price as just buying a new one.
