The fan and assembly comes well packed. It requires careful assembly. The instructions are the worst I have seen coming out of China. Be prepared to assemble by experimentation. If the remote control ever fails there is no alternative to get the fan to work. We hooked ours up to a wall switch so at the very least we can turn on the light if the remote fails. It gives off mediocre LED light with no ability to change the intensity or color. The fan works well and is nice looking when the fan blades retract inside the lamp. I would definitely not buy this again.

I wrestled with installing this fan for over 3 hours. The assembly manual was not only for the wrong fan, but impossible to figure out given it listed parts included and not included in the box. I Googled “retractable fan blade” and found a YouTube video with a similar fan but the video was in Spanish. There is no one to call for support, there is no email, nada. If you buy this fan, be prepared for a struggle installing it. The way you switch the lights is buy turning on and off the light several times to return to your favorite light. It wobbles even at low speeds. The shipping box was missing the fan balancing kit. This is a horrible fan.

Assembly and installation instructions don't match product. Videos don't help/match. Not a standard/universal mounting bracket configuration for a bedroom ceiling junction box. Had to kluge a different bracket and drill holes to fit. Bracket designed for a flat solid wood or concrete ceiling. If you're not mechanically inclined, you will have trouble assembling and installing. Remote control doesn't use a standard battery and no other way to turn fan or light on. For the price, it should have good, clear directions. I hope it lasts.

Fan blade snapped and flew across the room damaged wall after 2 years, can’t find replacement blades.
