So usually, I have my laptop in places like the library or coffee shop, and having this lock while I’m walking around to take a break from walking is very beneficial and gives peace of mind, knowing that if someone’s going to attempt to steal my laptop, most likely won’t even bother because other people will be suspicious of them, manipulating with the lock and actually using the tool to unlock it so it gives some peace of mind and for nine dollars You can’t really expect super high-quality material but it works and it does require a specific passcode but it doesn’t tell you what type of passcode it is like it doesn’t tell you how create a new passcode but it’s easy to guess because there’s a little circle thing on the edge of the lock that you can push in and change the passcode, but there’s no instructions but it’s easy to guess so Not that big of a deal overall really good product. I would recommend that cheap piece of mine but cheap quality that’s all.

That's about all there is to say. The product appears to be reasonably sturdy for most applications, and will hopefully withstand some pounding if it comes to that. I only downrated its 'Ease of use' as the numbers are difficult for me to read, and my large hands make it a little difficult to use the thumbscrews without sometimes turning the one next to it.

These teeth seemed to stop moving when the button is pressed, so the lock would either get stuck or fail to lock at all. Despite being advertised as universal, the locks didn't fit properly into some of my laptops.

Lower quality but should do the job. Many parts are loosely fitted. The combo reset button on one was jammed but now works smoothly after the first difficult press. I didn't know there's different size holes on laptops. Fits all my 15" laptops (hp, dell, asus) but not our 14" acer spin3. A good deal for the price.

I needed a pair of these to secure my two NAS's. These cables worked perfectly. They are keyed differently, if that matters to you.

The cheapest set available. The locks feel as if they could break easily but I have not tried that yet. Very difficult to lock or unlock.

Amazing value!

One of the locks did not work and remained open after setting security code for the first. Also, the dimension is not standard for Kensington locks. You will damage your laptop trying to insert this lock.

Not as strong as the original but serves the purpose.
