Great item to have just in case and good price.
I have use this to clone 3 ssd to different devices such as:-ASUS laptop-LENOVO FLEX 2-15-HP PAVILION desktopAll of them SATA 3 connection and have had not a problem whatsoever with the cable.

Poor Quality - DOA
I took a chance on this since it was so inexpensive - but it's cheap for a reason - this adapter was dead on arrival - there was an electrical short somewhere in the power connector or feed that would put any power adapter connected to it into instant overload.
