Arena Swedix Swedish Swim Goggles: Surprisingly Comfortable and Leak-Free!
I wasn't expecting much from these goggles, honestly. I was on a quest to find a pair that wouldn't leave awful raccoon eyes after swimming, and after trying numerous masks that all seemed bulky and awkward, I stumbled upon these Swedish goggles that looked, well, like torture devices for your face. Let me tell you, I was pleasantly surprised! It took a little while to adjust them comfortably in the water, but once I did, I had excellent visibility, no leaks at all, and no raccoon eyes at the end of my swim! These goggles have become my new favorite pair, and I highly recommend them, especially if you've struggled with similar issues in the past. Five stars for exceeding expectations! Here are some additional points that potential buyers might find helpful:Adjustability: It took some effort to find the perfect fit, but once I did, they were very comfortable.Visibility: The split lens design offers a wide range of vision, both forward and downward.Leakproof: I experienced no leaking whatsoever during my swims.Value: These goggles are priced competitively compared to other high-quality options on the market.Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend Arena Swedix Swedish Swim Goggles to anyone looking for a comfortable, leak-proof option with great visibility.

The perfect competition goggle.
This goggles take a while to get used to. During my first 3 or 4 days of practice with it I felt a little dizzy, especially when swimming breast and fly. However, after that time, I was well adjusted to it and using other goggles actually made me feel weird. They helped me with my head position in all strokes, as well as with my approaches to turns and finishes. Their low profile ensure low drag, making them the perfect goggles for racing days. In addition, the silicone around the sockets make this pair of goggles comfortable enough for daily use in practice, but it might feel a little weird if you never used Swedish style goggles before. I tried other "split" lenses goggles from other brands and models, and these are the one I liked the best. Even though I finished my college career I still use them when I go swim as exercise.Their biggest con: the straps are not durable at all, they might start decomposing with a little as two weeks. I recommend buying extra strings from a different material.

If you’re a competitive swimmer you know.
These goggles are great. I actually like the split. Promotes good head position. I’m laughing at the comments on some of these. Obviously not proficient or knowledgeable swimmers posting negative reviews. The bridges never work for me. Need to use the string/nose piece that’s included and I appreciate that Arena includes this old school “Swede” nose tie.

Nice goggles
My favorites. This is my third pair. They fit well and do not leave huge marks around my eyes. I also like how I can see in front of me when I swim. Last, they are super comfy on my eyes. I do replace the straps with bungie straps right away because they are easier to keep adjusted. Two complaints. One, they do fog after a few months. Second, the watertight fit begins to leak after about 6 months. I take good care of them - rinse them after every swim, air dry them out of the sun and keep them in a case. They should last longer. That said, I keep buying them so the good things definitely outweigh the bad.

Do not buy. Strap immediately snapped
Very disappointed in this purchase, despite Arena's strong standing within the swimming community, these goggles fall short right out of the box. When I tried to adjust the straps to fit my head, they immediately snapped. The durability of the strap feels like rubber that's been sitting in the sun for days, all dried up and cracked. Buy something else, or at least be prepared to shell out more money for a replacement strap.

Work well, but pretty uncomfortable
These goggles get the job done, but they do dig in uncomfortably around my eye sockets. No amount of adjusting/switching out the nose piece has fixed it, so I’ve come to the conclusion that the eye pieces are just not all that comfortable.

Great fit and visibility once adjusted right. Did need to use included string for nose piece.
This includes 4 black rigid nose pieces, in sizes XS, S, M, and L. (It doesn't include an XL.) These were all too small, placing the goggles too close together and pinching my nose instead of fitting around the eyes. Luckily there is also a "Swedish style" nose piece, consisting of a piece of string and a little rubberized cylinder to go around the center of it. By threading the string through the two goggles with the cylinder in the center, tying it at the right length, and trimming off a bit of the extra, I got the goggles to fit perfectly. In the water, they provide a better fit and clarity of vision than I'd had before. The split lens takes some getting used to. Clearly it works, and I tested that my view under water is a bit clearer through the lower part, and my view in the air is better through the upper part, although there can be a gap between the two fields so sometimes you need to tip your head if you're looking at something underwater and don't want it to appear broken up. I found that I could leave these goggles on for an extended period of time, and they were comfortable whether I was underwater or above, without leaking or fogging up. That earned them a 5-star review, in comparison to some other goggles that I've tried. There's no case included with these, so I'm keeping them in a spare glasses case. I avoid touching the interior of the lenses at all, and I'm trying to take good care of them so hopefully they'll keep working this well all year.
