Amazon Essentials Men's 9" Stretch Woven Training Shorts

I like everything about these, but my #1 favorite thing about them is the very wide waistband, which keeps them in place without any need to over tighten them with the drawstring.They are lightweight, but not flimsy, they are super comfortable. I wear them to work out, lounge, go to the store or do chores.If I had to give 1 con, it would be that I would like pockets that were maybe 1 inch deeper, but I am not unhappy with the pocket size, in comparison to other shorts they are larger than average.I am ordering another 1 in each color just in case they are discontinued.Noticed that the product page says "zipper closure," this isn't a zipper fly, there is a rear pocket that has a zipper.UPDATE - I've been using these for a year to work out and to run some errands, they are still in great shape after many washes.Last year, was able to get 2 light blue and 2 grey but the Dark Navy Blue and Black were sold out in my size, so when I checked and they ad them, ordered 2 of each of them.The quality and fit haven't changed, so very pleased to be able to get all 4 colors of these great shorts.

I like these shorts a lot. I was looking for shorts for very warm weather. These did well. I live in east Texas and it is hot and humid here for months. These shorts didn't add to the heat. I wear a 42" waist and I wasn't sure what size to buy. I bought an xl and an xxl. They both fit fine since they have an elastic waist. However, the xxl gave me a bit more leg room, so I'll be ordering xxl from now on. The only thing lacking was a zipper but that would add to the cost. They seem to be well made and have held up through several wearings and washings. I recommend these shorts!

I like the feel of the shorts, they are somewhat stretchy, though run a bit small. I don't think they are as good as Lulu, Nike, or comparable Reebok shorts, but they are a fraction of the price. I usually wear a Large to workout in for those brands, but don't think this Large for Amazon would be comfortable, a bit too constricting in the well, crotch. Not sure if sizing up would be helpful or not. I plan to wear them around the house or to sleep in though, but not quite comfortable enough for training/working out.

Great shorts. Fit. Feel of the fabric. Can't speak to durability as I've only had them a few weeks. I wear them as much as I can. Not a bad price either for me in size medium. My inseam is 30"Only thing I don’t like is the waist band is too wide, almost three inches high

I was a little resistant about trying these shorts, but so happy I did. They fit perfect, and comfortable on the waist and the 9”length is just right. They don’t grip or pull on your knees while running like other short have done to me.

The shorts are better designed for someone with "fuller hips". If you have an athletic build, these may not be what youre looking for. The tie and elastic is fairly loose and doesnt hold up well. Upside is the material seems durable after a few wears. I just wont be using these as gym shorts though.

Great shorts for the price, good materials, not so thin where they fall apart lifting but light enough to run in.I’m 5’9 170lbs athletic build, and got XS which were a tiny bit tight (but there weren’t any size S available) which I was expecting. overall great price/quality ratio, I’m getting the black ones too

I do a lot of power walking and needed some new shorts for the summer weather. After a few weeks of wearing these I can say I'm very pleased with my purchase. The fit and feel are very good. They are lined and give good support to the lower regions. Lightweight and good for the summer months. My only quibble is that when I hand wash them the color bleeds. I hung them in my bathroom and the dripping of color stained my shower floor. Besides that they are an excellent pair of shorts for a reasonable price and look good too.
