Over time, PJ's rep as a politically correct band just a little too above it all to prostitute its music on MTV has nearly superseded the music. But before that, they were a simply an in-your-face, in-your-head, loud, melodic rock band. And lead singer Eddie Vedder was known for his possessed stage presence and a primal growl that sounded like it required three vocal chords. The personal, narrative singles "Alive," "Jeremy," and "Even Flow" catapulted the reluctant band into the 10-million-plus-sales division. Subsequent albums are more intricate, subtle, thematically complex, and, in many ways, better than Ten. 当時CDでアホほど聴いた作品。 低価格で入手できてありがたい。 ただ、音質はイマイチと感じた。 パールジャムって日本では何故か過小評価されているバンド。 当時から軽視されてたイメージ。多分カートの発言鵜呑みにしてる人が多かったのかな？ 知らんけど。 ベコベコの箱で届いて嫌な汗が出たがなんとか中身が無事で良かった。

アメリカの表も裏も含んでいる
やっぱりかっこいい。 アメリカの表も裏も含んでいるのがPearl Jamだと思う。 こうやって聞いてみるとスタジオアルバムのEven Flowは結構テンポ遅かったんだなとか、 そういう発見もありつつ、ヘヴィなサウンドを楽しめます。

グランジも悪くないですね
CDを購入しようと思ったけれども、「～盤」的な高額なものしか見当たらなかったためアナログで購入。 ず～っとグランジをスルーしてきて、今になって聴き始めたのですが、悪くないですね。歌詞を理解できればもっと良いのだろうけど（輸入盤のため対訳ないのが残念）。 レコード、音圧は弱めです。ヴォリュームを上げて聴かないと。

とにかくかっこいい
音はどっしり構えた王道なハードロックという感じ ミドルテンポが多く、90年代らしい廃れた雰囲気とか倦怠感・浮遊感が全体を通して漂っていて そこがちょっと独特で面白いなと思います あとはとにかくメロディが綺麗でかっこいい‼︎

gran disco para audiofilos
La edición de este vinyl (portada beige) es muy interesante, tardo en llegar pero valió la pena, tiene el mix original de los 90s y un mix nuevo que es muy para fans y gente dedicada a la escucha y que sepa diferenciar los cambios. No lo recomiendo si solo quieres escuchar este disco como salió, es un poco más de audiofilo.
