Cooler Master AMD AM4 CPU Cooler Upgrade kit

Worked exactly like it should. Be careful the plastic clips on the motherboard are easy to break. Hand tighten evenly first and then give it a slight turn with screwdriver. Doesn't need to be too tight. Actually held the 212 evo in place better than the one that came with it for Intel.

I wish I had done a little more research, because this is a known issue: But (on certain boards) the fan can only mount horizontally with this bracket. I'm tempted to pull the bracket out, take it to a shop and notch out the grooves so that it can mount at 90 degrees (which is all that would be needed to make it universal) but, as is, I would not recommend purchasing it. Unless you want your computer to look like it was built by a goober, as shown in the picture.

Used with a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo. The newer iteration of this cooler has a backplate and mount that work with AM4 sockets, but frankly this was worth the $9 to have the heatsink fit right into the stock mounting bracket. Make sure you are tightening the screws on either side evenly.

Got this with the intent of using my original Cooler Master V8 on my Ryzen 2600. It does require some filing down of the sides to get it to fit though. So far the V8 is doing the job very well.

Bought this adapter specifically to adapt my gen 1 Cooler Master V8 CPU cooler to be used with my Ryzen CPU. Some modification had to be made to work with the gen 1 cooler.

Coolant system on computer. Wrong size. Just want to return and get correct size.

Just place the thing over your hyper 212 and then use your fingers to tighten it down, clip the fan on and Bam you're done

Easy to use and fits perfectly the cooler is very secure.
