According to Healthline, if the foodstuff is stored with grains or grains are used in processing, then trace elements of gluten may be present in the foodstuff although the foodstuff is in itself free of gluten. When I bought Al Medinah dates, the ingredients list said "dates." This does not tell you how the dates were stored or if gluten substances came into contact during storage or shipping. If this is a health issue, in my opinion your best bet is to contact the company through Amazon and ask about the issue.

I purchased this product a couple of months back, and they were not as fresh as I expected. It's best to purchase from your local Arab, Indian or Pakistani Store. As for the organic question, perhaps the seller would be able to answer that question.
