Very lightweight but not too flimsy. I almost got the king size, but the queen was more than adequate, just reaching the frame of the bed on 3 sides. The pillow cases fit perfectly and were snug on two different types of average Serta pillows. The colors are soo many that you could go A HUNDRED different ways in choosing how to decorate around it, or, in my case it fit right in with my busy, multi-colored, shades of autumn, lighthearted bedroom style. It also added some low-key turquoise and other blues i could have chosen from, so I bought a dark turquoise colored sheet & pillow set for underneath and I am soo happy with the new “pop” it all adds. I paid around $45 and would highly recommend it at that price as far as quality, but the colors added value (speaking for myself) and have changed the whole vibe in the best way. Def. I would recommended to anyone eclectic, or also to anyone just wanting to add a bit of pretty commotion to a more traditional, reserved room. There are also SEVERAL shades in the maroon/mauve/auburn/pink spectrum, light mustard, pea green & also white… I LOVE ALL THE COLORS & THE BUSYNESS!! I would call it “happy” in my bedroom nowadays :)!! I have not washed it yet, so I hope to update regarding that soon. Best of luck!

I purchased this quilted spread about a month ago to replace a heavier comforter that did not hold it's shape well after washing and was also too hot.I am very hot natured and I've been struggling for years to find a comforter that keeps me warm but isn't so heavy or hot that I'm constantly waking up at night. This is it!!This quilt is lightweight and I don't get hot at all during the night. If you are cold natured, or live in a cold climate, a cotton blanket under this would be just fine.As soon as it arrived, I washed and dried it and it kept it's shape and did not shrink or bunch up. It looks lovely on the bed and is very comfy...not ridged at all.Also, due to several reviews stating to order a size up for a thick mattress, I ordered the King quilt for my Queen size deep mattress. I also have two toppers on top of my mattress and didn't want to chance the Queen not covering the sides. The King is plenty big...it's actually a bit too big, but I just keep it longer on the side that no one can see...works for me! I would rather it be too big on one side than not cover completely on both. So be your own judge on size.Lastly, the quilt looks just like what is pictured. The color was true to what is shown and matched my décor perfect.I am very, very pleased with this purchase and have been sleeping like a baby. YAY!

It's a nice quilt, light comfortable and the pillow cases are nice also.

I have been looking for a quilt for a long time and for the price I couldn’t pass. I love the design. It fits my Cal King, with high mattress perfectly, ends right at the edge of my frame. It’s not to thick. Very soft. I love that it does not slide around at night. Bedspreads that slide all over drive me crazy. This stays in place even though it is a soft material. Pillow cases are very large so take note of those measurements, I did not. I only measured the spread. The set did It have an odor to it so I washed it first and notice a tiny area of the trim (about 3 inch section)came loose. Again, for the price, I’m not gonna be too upset. I stitched it back and but for others who may purchase, just be careful to use very gentle cycle. Overall, I’m very happy with the purchase. I bought a deep red/burgundy sheet to go with it and it looks very nice together.

I never write reviews but when I got the email stating these sets are made by a grandmother and her grandchildren I couldn’t help but want to take the time out of my day to let people know that this is really a high quality, wonderfully made, beautiful quilt set! And I can’t believe it’s not made in China! For this price I’m shocked at that! It’s a high quality, light weight but warm set. It’s great in Texas summers and has been great, with an extra not so pretty blanket on the few cold nights we’ve had. Way to go grandma! Way to go grandkids! Beautiful, wonderful, very happy customer!!!

Great quality, soft and lightweight but warm and cozy on chilly nights. Colors are clear and bright, no dullness or muddy looking spots. I love it!

This quilt's colors are exactly like the pictures. However, I read the ad descriptions very carefully because I didn't want it to be extremely heavy and I wanted it to fit a queen medium deep mattress. The description said it was 90 x 90. I didn't measure it upon arrival, did see that only the batting was cotton. The squares are 100% polyester, according to the fabric labels. So I threw it into the washer on delicate, then into the dryer on delicate. It dried quickly (100% poly). Put it on the bed and it doesn't come down on sides or at bottom as far as our comforter that is a 90 x 90. I can't be pulled up under pillows or it's too short at bottom. One side of bed will always have sheets and blankets hanging out from under quilt. The shams are plenty big and pretty. I'm keeping only because I like the colors, it was inexpensive, and it's light weight enough to sleep under.

Great quality for a great price. Color true to photo. I purchased a King set for a queen bed to get the generous overhang I wanted on the sides. Seams are well sewn and straight. Laundered before use with no fading or pilling. Light weight so layered with an Amazon basics down alternative comforter for winter. Velvet pillow cover and shams in photo also from Amazon. What a great deal! This look would have cost hundreds from a bed and bath store.
