What a wonderful set of wheels
What a wonderful set of wheels. I am 67 years old with some health problems and these wheels make my job a million times easier. It is very well made, easy to install and use. I would give it ten stars if I could. As we say here in Hawaii, Mahalo!

Unique item, but some problems
Very interesting with potential, but has some problems you have to consider. Sturdy construction but the two clamps don't work out of the box. The upper clamp (which holds your trimmer) slips, so I had to modify it by adding rubber pads, and that in turn required switching to longer bolts. There is another clamp which allows the height to be changed, and it also slips. It's constructed exactly like the clamp that holds the seat post on a bicycle, but they somehow did not copy it correctly. For this I had to use a hacksaw to cut longer slots in the frame. But even then the fancy lever clamp is very hard to clamp down, so they should have just put a bolt clamp on it.It looks like the lever clamp on the post was meant to allow you to quickly change the height or direction of the trimmer relative to the wheels as you are using it. But the lever is so difficult to close down, it is really impractical to change it once you get it in place. The next problem was welding splatter on the axle, which prevented one of the wheels from going on. Had to do some filing to get rid of it.If you don't mind doing all this modification work, you may end up with a good working unit. So basically, this thing has some wishful design features that look good on paper but the factory doesn't really know how to implement them properly.Packaging also has some wishful thinking. The package arrived with the axle sticking out of the box several inches. Not much packing material, but still, no damage other than scratched paint.Aside from the above problems, the unit does have sturdy construction and sturdy plastic wheels. I have a yard cart with similar plastic wheels and they have survived 25 years of abuse. But getting back to this product, it is painted dark solid green, what looks like some shade of Army green. Not US Army, but some Army. The paint has a very heavy duty look to it, so it is unfortunate that it got damaged by the modification work I had to do.

Product quality is good. Effectiveness for the task isn't
If you had a completely flat sod grass yard, this might be a OK tool add on. If you have a regular yard with clumps, lumps, hills or other non-smooth terrain, this is probably just more hassle than it is worth. Far too easy to over or under cut small areas as you are moving forward with the trimmer. Would not buy again for this purpose. The quality of the product build was pretty good though.

Easy to use
I bought this trimmer wheel attachment to make the large brush attachment for my trimmer easier to use. It takes the weight off me and puts it on the wheels. I recommend this for anyone looking to take the weight and pressure of you and put back on your weed eater or trimmer

Hard to maneuver
I gave it two stars because it is a set of wheels that will attach to a string trimmer. In spite of what it looks like in their video, the unt is extremely hard to maneuver and makes the trimmer harder to use than it was without it

GOOD OVERALL
The item arrived quickly, the box was not damaged, NO parts sticking out of the boxIt assembled quicklyRegarding the two clampsThe top clamp that attaches it to the trimmer, on my Homelite brand gas powered string trimmer the shaft is a wide enough diameter that it can be bolted on tight enough using the provided hardware, once you get the "non knob side" tightened wrench tight you are not going to be able to turn that knob by hand but I do not consider that a negativeThe other clamp that adjusts the height as others have noted no matter how tight I made that clamp with the vibration of use the height adjustment would change and the wheels would not stay at 90 degrees to the trimmer shaft. My solution is that I put the trimmer engine on a saw horse and got the "angle " set like I wanted it and set the height and got the wheels at 90 and then drilled a pilot hole through both shafts and installed a 3/4 inch #10 hex head self tapping screw, now it will not move either way.The plastic wheels do not look like they will last for the long run but we will see and will be easy enough to replace with some aftermarket "lawn mover wheels" if/when the time comes.Over all for 50 bucks you can covert your gas powered string trimmer into a "walk behind" like a DR you can easily guide it with your one hand that is on the throttle and move it forward or backward and waggle it side to side plus if you want/need to pick it up and use it like a normal hand held you still can, and if/when you need to replace you trimmer you can easily put the wheels on the new one.If not for the issue with the lower clamp I would have given it a 5

Universal String Trimmer Wheels is Still a Work-in-Process
Received the item, but have not had a chance to try it out due too vacation time and other time constraints. Analyzed the item after receiving it and have an idea to enhance it with larger cushioning wheels, longer handle and possible some tilting feature on one or both of the wheel hubs. Also, a little weight might be added to provide it with some stability and give it a heavy duty feel. Overall, this is a great product and an excellent concept. This product will save your back, shoulder and arms from any extended lifting of a weed eater.

Works but it make the weed eater clunky & heavy
The assembly onto my heavy straight-stick weed trimmer was okay. But you need to really tighten the screws down and get it adjusted to where you are comfortable with (it will feel like the movement you make in vacuuming when using it but it won’t move as fluid in diagonal directions.) It’s okay but it would be better if there was a turning radius or something on it. It will add weight to the whole trimmer if your back hurts like mine on picking things up. If you don’t have an auto feeder on the string you’ll fight to get it around things.
