I recently got my hands on the AOCHUAN gimbal stabilizer for iPhone, and I've been putting it through its paces for almost a month. One of the standout features for me is the 360-degree functionality, which has been a game-changer for my video recording needs. The menu and settings upgrades from previous versions are also a huge plus, making it super user-friendly and easy to set up. The wireless lavalier microphone picks up crisp and clear audio, and the OLED display is a nice touch. I've been using it to capture smooth footage, and the stabilizer has performed flawlessly. Great product. Utilizing the app that accompanies the product is a bit tedious, but overall, it is perfectly compatible with my iPhone 16 Pro Max and allows for stability and seamless video content. If the app were more user-friendly, it would have been 5 stars.

I had originally cancel this item, because I felt I had ordered the wrong one and it did not have the tracking and all the other whistles and bells that come with this type of device, but couldn’t cancel it because they had already shipped it and after receiving it, I was pleasantly surprised. This thing is everything I asked for and more. This is a great buy for the money. for the price range I personally think this is one of my better purchases.

Do not buy. Got this for my Niece for Christmas. She wanted to film while she cut hair. We returned it. She bought something better.

I like the features and extras that came with this gimbal. I have tried several other gimbals out and this one was the best. It didn't clamp down on the buttons on the side of my iPhone and it worked well at keeping my phone stabilized. The lavalier microphone is a nice addition but I haven't used it yet so I can't speak to it's quality.

Gimbal stabilizer for phones, camera, etc.. film makers getting started vloggers, etc.. anyone dabbling with shooting video would love a stabilizing gimbal. Wireless set up, with remote, great value for pros and newcomers alike.

I’ll be honest: When I ordered this device to review, I completely underestimated what I was getting into. So, if you know about gimbals already and are just comparing products, this review is not going to be very helpful. However, if you’ve only heard of gimbals and are curious about them, my experience may be helpful. (I can only hope!) First of all, it’s clear that this gimbal is a quality product with a lot of support from the company. The device has a good, solid feel. The finish is good, the packaging is good, and the printed quick-start instructions for the gimbal (and included wireless microphone) are very good. Even as a complete start-from-zero beginner, it was easy to follow the instructions for basic setup of the gimbal. Besides the printed instructions, there is an excellent video tutorial from the company online (details on how to find it are in the printed instructions). It explains and demonstrates all the things that the printed instructions cover, but being able to see what motions the gimbal goes through was very helpful. (I’ve included scans of the printed instructions with this review. Look on Panel 4 of the instructions for how to find the online tutorial. I wish I had watched it before thinking that I wanted this product.) It was at about this point that I began to realize that there’s a lot more to the gimbal than just keeping my product review videos from looking shaky, which was truly all I was aiming for. Next, I branched out into non-brand-specific online gimbal tutorials and quickly became flooded with information. I now realize that getting even a significant part of the functionality out of this device is well beyond my level of motivation to become a videographer at this moment. (Maybe next year, but not right now.) I would say, though, that if you are at a point where you have been making some videos and already have a reason that you want to make your work look good (not just functional), this particular gimbal would seem like a pretty good place to start. In just a couple of hours, I found resources that would keep me busy learning for quite a while. I have decided that the best way to improve my product reviews is to improve my lighting and use a tripod. The gimbal will have to wait.

Great product

This seemed to be a good quality and well made product, but was very heavy and difficult to make work- i.e. a complicated and long learning curve. It worked,well kind of, and would need a lot of patience to get good pictures. The size of the device was quite large and not something that would make sense to carry around for me.

Hard to work with

Simple to use and works well with iPhone 15
