Power Words: Igniting Your Life with Lightning Force

I really enjoyed this book. I got through it quicker than I do most of my books because I couldn’t put it down. It’s also very easy to understand. I love that it tells you the words you shouldn’t use and what you can replace it with instead and provides a lists of power words you can use in your daily life. It’s very positive and upbeat. If this is your kind of thing this is the book for you and if its not read it anyway you may just learn something that may change your life.

I love being uplifted so I can read my beloved affirmation books over and over again and I can read new affirmation books as they come out. No offense, but affirmation books basically all say the same thing. This book is head and shoulders above the rest. What I thought was an affirmation book is more of an energy book. Words can alter reality, so this could be perceived as an affirmation book, but it's so much more. It breaks words down into the subtle energies that you can and do feel. You can use those energies to empower you to do many things, to do great things. I am not one to enjoy organizing my space and sometimes the task is daunting but saying INTENSE INTENTION over and over in my mind before starting and during the process energized me even when I thought I was feeling tired from overwhelm. Power Words is life altering.Being sensitive, I found this book to be validating. Do the word exercises. They are fun! I love how the author engages her audience. Speaking of the author, I came across her twin sister's books at Borders and I've spoken with her twin sister, Sandra Anne Taylor, on her Hay House Radio show. Sandra is one of the most loving and nurturing women I know. She's gifted with intuition. On the other hand, Sharon has her own distinct voice and her own distinct gifts. Power Words is evidence of this amazing woman. I can't wait to get to know her more.

This book is so much better than the typical 'positive thinking' books out there. "Power Words" teaches you how to feel word energy and how to truly use words as tools -- not just for communication, but to create new insights, new actions, and new results. I've found that power words can help in so many different kinds of situations. I've used power words to get back on top of old projects, help with stubborn people, make decisions when I'm confused, refocus when I'm distracted, and in so many other ways. The opportunities to use them are unlimited. I've given this book to a number of my friends, and every one of them has become so excited about the impact that using power words has had -- for running, for tennis, for meditating, and definitely for feeling great even when energy's low. I've started to discover some new power words for myself, too. My friends and I agree that power words are like some kind of new wonder drug that makes you feel fantastic. They're free, and they're always available. (Actually, power words may be more like having a treadmill or home gym. After all, you do have to remember to use them to get their benefits!) I couldn't recommend this book more. It's unique. And more than that, it's life-altering. I'm resolved to bring power words into my daily life. With them I'm sure my daily life will become an extraordinary life!

This book is one of my favorites and is by my bedside to use on a daily basis. It has already made a big impact on my organizational skills by using powerful words and phrases several times a day. I've experimented with giving friends phrases and have had feedback on positive changes in their lives already.I have recommended this book to at least 10 people that I thought would enjoy and they did. I carry my book with me so that I can read it whenever I have a few minutes waiting in line, appointments or walking on the treadmill at out gym. I have had strangers come up to me asking me what I am reading, as the cover itself attracts people's attention.This book is well written with lots of examples on how to use these power words. I am looking forward to trying more "power words" for other areas of my life.

We ALL have a sense that dwelling on negative thoughts and emotions produce untoward results. The computer world’s phrase for this is “garbage in, garbage out”. The beauty of Sharon Anne Klingler’s book is that you are given a constellation of words, words that can be fashioned into your own phrases and can have dramatically positive results when used. (At least for me.) But it is not just the words but the repetition of them, the regular use that creates and augments positive patterns in your life. (Any student of Proust will attest to the raw power of word replication.) I highly, highly recommend this powerful little book to readjust, realign, repurpose, and refocus life’s little patterns that have gone awry, that have grayed out your day, that, well, simply have not been working for you. The book will in sum prove not to be just another one of those positive thinking books but a real assistance in helping you get out of your own way.

This book was a nice easy read that just reinforced what we pretty much already know. Careful what comes out of your mouth as it seems to manifest somewhere down the road. Therefore if we are using powerful words like wealth, health and removing the cannots and the don'ts then we pave the way with our words for manifesting our futures. Saved it to my Kindle as a reminder for me to think before i speak. Not to mention you just feel better using power words!

Useful ideas for changing your thoughts and your words and your life! Was much more than expected and yet easy to read and easy to use.

I would recommend anybody who wants to change their negativity to read this book . A really well written book
